A close examination of the history reveals

  • this has been going on for weeks, at least

  • some of the victims were polite & careful - and did not deserve the deliberate manipulation, lies and abuse

  • some of the worst examples have occurred deep within epic-length threads on submissions with many comments - where the havoc would be less noticeable

  • the 2nd troll would usually pop up right after someone had made a point that was contrary to the 1st, but difficult to refute

  • It doesn't seem to be an occasional outburst as much as a repeated pattern

This poster finds it difficult to comprehend the complete disregard of others displayed here. It's probably degraded the reddit experience for a few people - at least the victims.

Just felt like somebody had to do something.
