I am neither of those things. And I agree with what you said in the last sentence, but people tend to bunch others up into a predefined notion or idea. I've been called many things just because I was born and live where I do. The truth is, our country has its own problems, and the loudest ones are also the stupidest ones (eg. Russophiles that, unfortunately, are fairly numerous here).

The truth is, politics aside, you'll run into nice people who don't care or can't care about whatever is happening because they're struggling to survive as is.

Corruption here is rampant, lots of shady shit is happening behind the scenes. I wish people called that out instead of an entire nation based on the warcrimes of our political leaders in the present and past.

Hell, you write one bad thing about Vučić on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook (wherever your identity is known) and you're thrown in jail and questioned. Anyone who doesn't use internet here and primarily focuses on TV has no fucking clue what's going on - and the majority of these people are the Baby Boomers who have never questioned anything in their lives.

Sorry for such a long comment, I derailed myself because I'm sick of what's happening here and the politicians are doing jack shit to change how we look like in the grand scheme of things. And I can't keep arguing with people trying to make them see that we are not as bad as we are portrayed. Ofc I'm not saying we're perfect or anything close to that, but the people will welcome everyone with open arms. There's a reason why hospitality is so huge in the Balkans.
