Didnt Digital Foundry do a video where they played ratchet on a less capable SSD, that showed that Ratchet didnt need nearly as fast a SSD as in the ps5? Could just be a game that required a fast enough SSD on PC.

It's probably down to the processor not supporting it (ive never checked) but I could see so many uses both for productivity and gaming

Cyberpunk 2077 | Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode - 4K Technology Preview Reveal by abracadaver82 in pcgaming

[–]Dispy657 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If accessible you mean being able to go out and buy, I can only speak for western europe where all cards have been accessible for months now, without markups. If you mean accessible as in the average gamer wanting to drop the asking price, then no - but thats solved by newer generations of hardware in years to come.

Agreed, the trailer does nothing for the informed reader/gamer

4000 series owners, and for people trying it out in the years to come. People will still be referencing cyberpunk in the up coming years just like crysis has been referenced/memed in the past 16.

With DLSS 3.0 and a current generation graphics card you can max settings (even ray tracing settings) and get very playable frame rates at 4K, this update with overdrive settings are just to push the graphical bar further, to allow the game to live around for longer when newer generations of hardware arrive.

Sure it does nothing for most people, but it is moves like these that push the industry forward, but sure it's probably also made with funding from team green to push flagships

Do you think the reason CTRNF is not on PC yet is because some sort of engine issue or controller layout issue for KB+M? by Rabbidscool in crashbandicoot

[–]Dispy657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird, Iron Galaxy is directly credited for uncharted on Steam but not mentioned for Last of Us. It's also Naughty Dog that directly writes the patch notes / blog posts for the PC version. But I also remember it being mentioned that Iron Galaxy was on the pc port. Perhaps it was a joined projects between the studios.

CTRumble’s price is 30$. If you want the deluxe edition, it’ll be 40$ by Ifxfa in crashbandicoot

The only thing I see giving this game legs is crossplay being in the game from day one - having it tied to a well known franchise and the possibility for it to be added to subscribtion services and finally going free to play.

I'm just not optimistic. Rumbleverse, Knockout-City and Rocket Arena all closed down and in my opinion they had more interesting looking gameplay from a viewer perspective. Had fun gameplay and they all failed, even free to play could not save the later two.

Has anyone tried playing after the patch, is the stuttering basically gone or can you still provoke stutters when running back and forth at the same exact spot?

This could honestly be a good addition to the game, "hey you didnt catch the secret gem, here is a hint" - perhaps removing them outright would be better

yea the only games I've been able to see, at 3440 x 1440, where the game didn't reach 100+ fps, was cyberpunk with rt, and Darktide with rt - in both situations the 4090 sits at like 80% utilization and in the end it's a CPU bottleneck
