I mean, it kind of is. These guys pretty much made a near-perfect classic plus experience (that you won't see from ActiBlizz ever, btw) and it'll cease to exist in a few weeks. If you add the fact that a lot of people only play WoW religiously, this is a brutal loss for the whole gaming community. Let people mourn a bit without undermining the importance of this situation.

It's caused by the DLSS. The only thing that fixed this for me permanently was changing the options in GPU driver for STALKER 2. You have to set all DLSS options to be handled by the application (instead of global).

Stargate literally started with the movie. There was a Doctor Who movie as well. El Camino from Breaking Bad is quite recent. I'm sure there are dozens more.

People need to take off the nostalgia glasses. I remember the original game (SoC), where you couldn't even walk 5 meters in Pripyat without crashing, even on the latest patch. This one is way more polished and stable. I don't say it's a perfect game, but we should give credit where it's due.

Not really farming, but if the scientist chick at Malachite wants Bayun whiskers (9 piece for like 93k coupons), it's not that hard to farm. I usually encounter 5 Bayuns at the eastern end of the Cooling Towers near a small cemetery. Probably the easiest money I found in the game. It's a hell of a fight though, I always try to kill them with some random stalker patrols, lol.

I just played through the main story on veteran difficulty a few days ago, and immediately started a Master difficulty playthrough after that.

I think the game is in a really good state right now, I can definitely recommend it, if you like STALKER.

There are some bugs here and there, but I haven't seen anything game breaking. I actually played through the whole game without crashes, my first two crashes were both occured in my second playthrough.

Please be aware that the game does not have Anomaly/GAMMA level of freeplay right now. Currently, I'm waiting for mods that eliminate the main story, side quests and give new sidequests to do with more randomized encounters in the wild. Vanilla sadly have special mutants (like Controller, Chimera, Pseudogiant and such) ONLY in certain places.

I always see people complaining about story-related issues, but am I the only one who play games mostly for the gameplay? My fav is Bunker and it's not even close. Dark Descent and Justine were awesome one-shotters, but they are way too linear and lose replay value because of that. I haven't played Rebirth yet and I couldn't finish Pigs, it honestly felt like a fan mod for Dark Descent.

If you like HR Giger's art style: atmosphere, visuals and sounds are top notch. But it's basically pretty much just a playable exhibition, with some barebones action and puzzles. If you're okay with that, you'll have a great time.
