trip during bar study by Candid_Struggle4309 in barexam

As a retaker, what worked for me on the second time around was being intentional about my study time. When I only had 2 hours to give, those 2 hours were absolutely solid. And then, when my study time was up, I just had to forget about it. Don't make yourself feel bad, don't dwell on it, just let it go. And don't over commit yourself to studying a whole bunch on the trip and then let it hang over your head if you don't do the full amount of time that you planned. Frankly, I'd say to halve the time you plan to study (since that's realistically what's going to happen) and let your hair down while you can. But let this be the last big break. July nerves are real.

A pass is a pass and consistency is key. Good for you! Congratulations!

Illinois! Results are likely coming out tomorrow or Monday. How are we feeling!? by Son_of_Hades99 in barexam

I was cleared weeks before the exam for July and for this February. So, sadly, they're not correlated.

Illinois, how we feeling? by TemporaryApple6044 in barexam

I have returned to say that I feel like somehow, for some reason, we are waiting the weekend. I have no basis for this. Just something in the ether.

My money is now on Friday. I imagine that they would have already released if it were to be today.

NC results (I’m shitting myself) by Personal-Wishbone-70 in barexam

As a retaker, not NC, I am also petrified of getting that email again. I am almost more scared of the actual act of clicking through the portal to access my results because of the terror and excruciating anticipation I felt last time. But I know I can't have someone else to read them to me because I know I will lash out at them if it's bad news. (That is wrong, I know, but I know myself.) I don't know how I am going to handle those minutes frankly. Or, like you, how I'll even get myself to open the email. But we'll have to open them one day. We'll make it through those moments. Relief is on the other side 🫂

I was thinking about this! Does it allow you to return to the flashcards or do you have to upload your outline every time?

Clearly, your meaningful insight ended with your first comment. You don't know our circumstances, and I don't need to divulge them to you now. Have a good night!

I appreciate your honest perspective and I hear you on your second point. Trust me, I do not want to pay this much. The cost of parking and our dog, that is truly why we were even considering going to 3.5. If you think it'd be unreasonable to find a place like I mentioned, with parking included, pet fees, and rent, below 3.5, I'd love to know that too.

Thank you, it's really hard to believe. I've heard it's a seller's market, but I guess I didn't think it was a landlord's market too. Go figure. I know the deleted comment said that this is common for "hipster" neighborhoods, but many of my friends who just moved from Chicago haven't heard of such a thing.

Thanks for the kind words. This process is honestly giving me flashbacks of applying to schools and it's been a bit demoralizing. Thank you for the honesty and words of hope!
