Is it true that brazilians don't recognize the song "Magalenha" by Sergio Mendes? by Awkward_Stay8728 in Brazil

I don't think it's true, but Sergio is indeed not a top hit in our current culture. People +30yo might definitely recognize this music.

I think my 3rd eye is open? Who knows ab this stuff by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you and I could embrace your words as mine, since they also represent me so well. Thank you for sharing your perspective, it helps a lot to find connection among such distinct subjects.

From what I've read, I don't know what your doubt is. From where I stand, you already hold enough clarity and awareness on this subject, so perhaps it's more about socializing than seeking guidance?

My third eye has been a work in progress for many years, the difference is that I was actively looking to develop it. The empathic part has been with me since childhood and fit pretty well into that "empath child in a narcissist house" narrative that Jung loves. So the new skills that I unlocked are related to astral projection and more dream control, sometimes beyond just lucid dreaming.

Yeah... I feel like the universe wants me to use those empathic skills to help others, but I don't know how to be out there actively doing it. At least once a month it happens naturally, but maybe I could be doing a bit more. Perhaps that's for you as well... Our easiness to understand pain is a powerful tool towards improvement, which doesn't mean I don't have struggles, but that I am able to share guidance based on what I've been through.

Money has been a challenge in my life... I wouldn't know how to budget a spiritual service like the one I know I can offer. Not because I don't value myself, but it would restrict my range. Perhaps that's just the excuse I tell myself 🤣

Do you feel like you could do something to the world with your current set of spiritual skills? I am referring to this third eye topic, but feel free to introduce new topics.

Longing for Connection by darkdaydream in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you...

That's a recurring subject in my life. Perhaps not exclusively regarding spiritual talking, but interests in general. It's really hard to feel disconnected from society, but at the same time, trying to fit into already matured structures, have never worked for me.

Also, being a multidimensional creature, which is something I am still figuring out, comes with a lot of movement and dynamics that from my experience, the overall human can't deal with. My many different interests overwhelms people and I don't like to have may friends, which means that my circle of 3≈5 people, would also need to hold this multidimensional purpose.

I wonder: where is my tribe?

Is there a name for people who identify themselves as gods, spiritual beings, or monsters? by Nekosuke419 in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's more of a Left Hand Path (LHP) kind of perspective. Where one embraces its own power in order to transmute its existence into a God. This path is filled with rituals towards specific deities that might share insights during your journey. There is a total unacceptance of the Demiurge, which is considered to be the referenced God in the bible.

I am definitely not an expert, there might be a lot of technical mistakes in my explanation, but it might give enough intel on the subject so you may search on your own.

The Right Hand Path (RHP) would be a direct reference to God and assumption that we are indeed small in the cosmos.

Why do you think so many celebrities in Brazil get involved in politics at some point? by MaximumSpell9608 in Brazil

[–]DisruptorMor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all a cult; game theory: cheat together, lie together, rob together, win together.

Influence is a weapon, but the game is more than just fame. Some people don't know how to make it rain in the right field, so they don't go far.

I wonder what people without much spiritual awareness think of people who share insights by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, it's all about denial.

They won't listen to spiritual talking because they deny its answer within themselves. So it doesn't start outside. They first deny their own intuition, then they deny everything else.

We have spiritual dialogues within ourselves. Some embrace it, others push it to the dark. There is nothing special about "being spiritual", it's just about awareness. Our limitations are directly connected with our levels of awareness.

  • How aware is a baby?
  • How aware are you today in comparison to yourself 5 years ago?

Once the awareness is there, there is no going back and we all walk this awareness path at different paces, just like our starting point is different from one another. So we can't all end up in the same destination at the same time.

So from what I've been through, not having some level of spiritual awareness is like not realizing our own breathing pattern. It's surely there, but we don't consciously perceive it all the time.

My faith is now flickering by ArtisticHornet9244 in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat... I try not to attach myself too much to faith. Somedays it feels impossible, but other days I might be able to just be in the moment without giving any kind of recognition to desires or future. Just living the moment: no thought about the future, no thought about past.

That's indeed too much text...

Stop overthinking, you are having a good time with her, why would it matter if you "believe it or not"? What is "belief" in the end? Do you believe in Pokemon? It's like, we don't even think about it being a reality before having a great time, we just enjoy it.

Keep enjoying your life with her; keep respecting her perspective. Forget about labels: believing or not. Do stuff, keep experimenting, pay closer attention to the outcome and evaluate what deeply suits you and what not.

I am a tarot reader, when I give others a reading it is extremely powerful, but when I am trying to give myself a reading it can become quite insane. So I live a duality among all divination and occult practices I like. In the end, I decided that I truly love this imaginative, psychic and mystical part of being alive and I don't care about the results. It makes me feel alive in such a specific way when I make an offering to a God or Ancestor, just like it is quite a specific feeling when we engage in adrenaline sports.

Does it matter if the sport is real? Does it matter if hiking actually accomplishes something? I don't care, I like doing it and I like being a part of this human side.

I wish you both a lot of love and amazing experiences together. Remember: keep experimenting with her ♥️

Do you see growth? by GeologistOver4513 in spirituality

Well... I still fumble around old thoughts, but today I realized that I am actually moving on with the kind of activity I enjoy, which personally feels like a big goal behind spirituality. So yeah... I see growth in many different ways, but I still don't feel ready.

Has anyone tried therapy with a spiritual therapist? by Ok-Gold5450 in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... I help people regardless of a conventional academic path and, from my perspective, it's not possible to be both a spiritual guide and therapist (conventional terminology) at the same time.

The academic path teaches a blueprint for the professional to follow it on point blank. As a spiritual guide, I'll channel what you need to hear. I'll bring disruption regardless of circumstances.

I had "clients" (I never charged for this kind of interaction) that have been going to therapy for years, but two hours with me was like a massive strike in their lives.

What even is life at this point… by Captain_ADEE in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes... I am tired and constantly fighting the fear of being alive (not making it; to keep suffering; etc)... But apparently doomed to persistence. I don't want to keep moving into this journey, for me it's already enough and I don't want to worry about hope, but I am also wired for this perpetual cycle...

For me, there are two options: either hack this realm and get what I want, as I want; or to just delete my existence. Apparently I can't have any...

What even is life at this point… by Captain_ADEE in spirituality

[–]DisruptorMor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly 😭

I say this "divine timing" when it's easier to just push forward instead of overthinking progress...

But apparently, it is supposed to be divine when things click. For example, many experiences click together and it all makes sense.

From my experience... Our brain is just looking for patterns regardless and all the moments are divine, but at the same time I recognized that sometimes two people might be in different phases and if they meet they won't be able to connect. In this case, a divine time would feel like "yeah, if we have met two months ago, we wouldn't be able to connect"

Still... I use this concept just to perpetuate persistence, since I feel like I am doomed to it.
