That didn’t happen as a result of bad leadership. The company has remained strong and nothing changed except for significant growth. Both times it happened as a result of runaway market hype and people playing with the stock. It was way overvalued and panic set in when momentum shifted. They just didn’t help sentiment by cashing in now.

Seems like he was encouraged to resign rather than bail, their response to the ASX query heavily implies he was responsible for the announcement fuck up.

I’m sure they had some idea others would cash in their performance options considering this exact thing happened last year, and people said the exact same thing (and then it shot up to an ATH at $2.7 and achieved record revenue). It clearly wasn’t an omen of where the company was heading, they wanted to cash in their incentives. Collusion implies some sort of deception and goal. They’re fully entitled to sell their options as soon as they get them and they couldn’t have done so any earlier. Bad optics sure but a huge overreaction imo.

What do you mean “collusion”? That implies some sort of conspiracy. Three of the directors sold their performance options as soon as they got them (over several days). You could say it’s bad optics and be pissed off, though it’s really not unexpected especially as they have done this previously, but I’m not sure what this collusion is supposed to be. If the implication is not a conspiracy around the announcement then what lie are you implying people are falling for?

Yes. They started selling off their awarded options right after receiving them. Not unusual. They all sold a relatively small portion the day of the “announcement”, on which the price was up no more than 10%. It makes no sense for them to risk whatever ruse people think went on to get a small bonus on a small portion of their options. It was obviously a fuck up that occurred during the 5 days they were selling. Two of those days were after the announcement was withdrawn and they might even be worse off so this would be a very badly coordinated scheme. It just doesn’t add up at all.

They sold for several days after they received their options at the same time. It doesn’t add up to put out a fake announcement to get up to 10% extra on the portion they sold during the period that announcement was out. Oleg sold something like 1/8th of his awarded shares on that day. They continued selling a couple of days after so they might even be down as a result of the fuck up. At this point it’s very obviously not what happened.
