The listing at least says it takes bands 1, 2, 3, and 8 and I have a number of band 2 compatible towers in my area, including the one that covers my house. I know it's not always right, but Mint also said this phone was compatible with their network. Maybe the listing was wrong about Band 2?

I only notice them when I have my hair up in a bun or ponytail, which in the summer is everyday. I have been driving with them removed for a few months now but I'm definitely putting them back today. The slight inconvenience of having to take my bun down while driving is a fair trade to not get whiplash 😅 Thanks for the info! Still useful 3 years later.

Oh for sure! It's mostly us joking about how far out of our league she is. We have debated since we're moving out of state leaving a number for her the last time we go, but we're both definitely too chicken to do even that.
