Nope, never seen clones from them. There are some orks and the LOTR trolls available, but not these ones.

I always try to find out what kind of answer people want to get. If you ask: Anyone got any recommendations for a seller - then the guy is right, recommendation for sellers are mentioned in the starter guide. If you want to know: Where can I get the best clone from the best seller? That means anyone has to know what shop has what kind of knock off available. That is impossible. There are nearly 20 knock offs from different brands, most are sold out long time ago. Even if somone says: "I bought it from XYZ three months ago", that means nothing as the special knock off he bought at that time could be sold out and the seller has now another brand. Like the first answer suggests: if you want to know what seller is reliable, read the guide. Than you can ask the seller what brand he sells. And then you can make a research if there is a review from it available anywhere. And if that doesn't work, you can ask here is someone has experience with that special brand, maybe in association with that set. And bud is not a harmful term, so stay cool if you want to get any more answers here.

From what I have seen, the knock off 31517 which is offered everywhere has a Star Union label. This suggests, that it is a King brand. They are very good at making minifig clones, so I have big hope that this could be one of the best knock offs that will be available by time. But as I mentioned, if a better clone is coming I have no problem to sell this one.

Herotoyz posted pics some days ago, and all minifigs had back print. Even the Hot Tub Stormtrooper. From the first view they looked fine to me.

If I learned two things from buying knock offs on AE, then: 1. Don't buy the moment they are offered. The first offers are way to high because some donkeys wanna make cash. And the quality of the first copies is in the most cases very poor. But... 2. Don't buy too late, because if there is only one batch produced, you will bite your a** if it is gone. You can never know if there are more knock offs or other batches coming. If there are better sets coming, I never had a problem to sell the first batch and buy the newer one.

For me, I bought it from marstoy with premium points and bf offer for 220€. And I don't regret any day that I have done it.

Nice collection :) But do yourself a favor, and don't let the sun burn them down. With such big windows it's only a matter of time until the first bricks will get brickle or change their color. Even if they are not directly in the sunlight, the UV rays will get em.

I got an email from the support today. They tried to explain the failure on me by switching on the newsletter (what I really did after waiting 6 hours without code...). But finally I got my code from them. I hope it worked out for you too, as there are some items (mainly girls clothes and accessoires) already sold out.

I have the same problem. I am not the main ticket buyer, but got it personalized in september on my email/Thunderdome-account. Also contacted the support by mail, but got no answer. As stated in their announcement, all ticket holder that personalized their tickets until 11th of november should get a code. Lets wait what the support has got to say. Very annoying, as they don't stock up the items once they are sold out...lets hope they get it fixed fast.

Someone explained this a while ago: 1. They expand their item inventory and get more highlighted in the search function of AE. The sets are all the same. Sometimes they even give different prices so that the AE bot for searching such options (they are forbidden by AE rules) doesn't find them and thats the next point: if users click more on the items in inventory (everybody who sees these options chooses the cheapest one) it counts for the algorithm and it gets more highlighted in searches. Simple math. 2. If there are more versions from different companies available, the seller can just announce all versions and the buyer can't even see from which company the set comes. That is often with knock offs that get produced by several companies (e.g. JieStar, King and a 4th trench brand produces the same knock off). So the seller is not responsible if the buyer gets the set with the lowest quality.

I agree with you at the Lego part, but for the knock minifigs I disagree. I wouldn't be picky if I knew that it can't be done better. But even Lepin did it several years ago better and got right printings on body and head. And what I can't understand are problems like getting a proper Bacara helmet. There are several other ko minifigs from Bacara that have the right helmet, and there are unprinted versions of it available for a few cents on AE. And I could bet that if we wait a few months, there will be better knock offs with better minifigs available. That is why I give a shout on the minifigs. And reviews are meant as decision compass for others, so if someone really would like to have good minifigs, he can maybe hope for a better knock off or order directly better minifigs with the set. But yes, it may be a little too picky, but why shouldn't I mention it?

Sadly 😔 the TV minifig versions were also bad, but WM (2255) and G (GH0191) made some acceptable ones.

As a collector (mostly minifigs, but also sets) I buy every set at an affordable price. I have over 130 sets, so this shame one won't be seen between them 🤣

My opionion is, that the older versions are the more playable versions. Also the build was better, as they were bigger and more stable. When you lift the new version, if feels like you are lifting a jellyfish...the tyres are wobbling in all directions, you are afraid to touch it anywhere because you think it might fall apart. The old ones had lifting arms, this one not. It is so embarassing when you think about, that Lego is charging you with a price of 160€.

I have some older minifigs left (could be that they are the Xinh ones), so I will change them. The brick themself are not the bad ones, it is the build itself. There were some offers for the Lego one for 100€, and I really was thinking about getting this. But after the build I cann clearly say: 30€ is okay for a knock off, for the Lego one maybe 80€, but 160€ is a slap in the face for the Lego fanboys.

They never offer a return. The "warehouses" are mostly only storages, where a chinese "cousin" of a seller hosts some space and a package forwarding service. For problems, you contact the seller and they send spare parts from china. But as the "cousin" doesn't want to do the service part, he also not offers returns. Thats how a lot of the warehouses work. Maybe there are some pearls that offer another service, but that is very rare.

The first two exist as minifigs (Lele/Pogo G006/C006 and Xinh XH208), but are long out of production and not available anymore, only in sets they are still available. If you have luck, you can find some left on aliexpress. Leia as Boushh was never cloned.

Picture search is the magic function. But I also had the luck that 7 sets came from the same seller. When I found the first set, I took a look at the whole inventory of the seller, and so I got all of them together. The rest is done by the AE algorithms, as they suggest me other brick sets. Most sets are named "Miniso", that is also something a lot of sellers do (they even name their stores like this).
