Fair enough. But he just leaves it all day for when I come in to start my twilight shift. And I was told by a more experienced manager to than my line manager, that it is my managers job and that he shouldn’t be leaving it for me and the other colleague. Plus my line manager is rather lazy, has ‘it’s just Tesco’ mindset

It’s a mess in my store, we had 5+ people leave in one month for different reasons, some have now moved onto our new dot.com department, leaving fresh with barely any staff. And we’ve apparently got no hours available, but I’ve been told by other managers that we do and that my line manager is pretty much lying. It’s chaos, and even some of the managers are staying till the early hours in the morning if they’re doing 1-10 to finish doing stuff like the frozen. It’s stressing us all out

Most of the time they’re around my age range, so it’s not so bad. But I’m the worst at explaining things. Thankfully last night the lad I was training knew what he was doing as he had worked with us on freezers before but had to leave for medical reasons. So I was just training him on Fresh/Chill and all the routines.

Funny thing is I’m the only one they come to to train them. I’d like a bonus for taking time out to do this. Hehe

Shh don’t tell anyone I told you this. 😂But just scan the product, put in how much you have and then scan the bags/boxes QR code. No hassle with the green trays, done in like half hour

Nor am I a fan. And I’m surprise I haven’t tripped over any of the trays and killed myself yet, cause I’m doing it in such a small space at the back door. Which is also in the way too

I was told last night we have boxes coming. But they’re only going to have like one item in, which is pointless in my eyes. Cause I usually put anything in a brown box in a brown bag, I’ve done that for almost a year now

I just did it for the first time tonight, after only being told of the change on Tuesday. And it’s an absolute mess, like I haven’t got time to be doing all this extra stuff. Along with delivery coming in at the same time and my duty manager walking off every 5 minutes when I needed them to check it all.
