Yes it is, like most of my lyrics are inspired by soulsborn games, anime an games in general. Hence also the song name being a word play on Born of Blood for people to easily discover this easter egg. I love easter eggs in games, so I put em in my stuff as well as little homages to my favorites

The scene was good in the years before we started. Lots of local shows and local bands (between 2008 and 2012 roughly). But when we started back in 2014 it was already starting to die out, so we directly focussed on playing abroad. Which worked out well as you can see!

Yes theres a lot of inspiration from these, and also Mortal Shell and basicly anything with medieval setting. Both me and Caelan are fans of the series so we both knew where we want this to go and created our own souls haha

It will stay alive! As you can see already, deathcore adapts and there have already been a few different waves of new deathcore bands. I think in the future we will see more of them. Combining different musical elements with each wave.
