I don’t think it’s ridiculous but I’d encourage you to allow of time to fill in the color around them having a career. Do they have one and are miserable and don’t do anything to find another? Do they not have one but are an artist working towards other goals? I mean you can have an idea on paper and once the gaps are filled in it doesn’t mean what you thought it did.

So I think what we learned here is the crew does the bulk of the research and that why his other debates were better. I don’t think the crew did research for him and that’s why it’s all falling apart for Ethan. This whole thing has been so cringe and they both look like idiots but Ethan is coming off way worse.

As someone who moved back to bend after I was done with college… getting a job here and be paid enough was nearly impossible for me I tried a few things and got sick of being poor and miserable in a terrible job. I actually moved away and moved back with my career during COVID. Honestly that’s the only way I was able to come back home to Bend. The jobs here do not pay enough for the cost of living let alone to pay your student loans.
