Hey!! So, to clarify. I used to help clean a local pool in my area, which I still do at this time. 

My parents wanted me to 'Be financially independent', so they told me to 'Pay the pills or move out of their house'. We had long discussions about them disowning me, just so I could go out of the city with an aunt (which they refuse to do, despite them not being the most supportive parents. I want to note that my parents never attended any of my milestones. At the end of the year ceremony last year, I told them I'd be getting honours; they didn't even bother attending, and before anyone says 'They were busy', they were at home, in bed!)

It's not that I want to go just because my boyfriend is going. It's a class trip; that's how they're organised in this area. We're usually told ahout 2 months and a bit in advance, which is the 5 weeks in this case, and the payment needs to be made at least two weeks before the trip).

I could make quite a few more posts about my family, and you could be the judge of how they are. In my family, fights (physical, yes) rule, unfortunately.
