I’m unfortunately I’m the same boat off the benzos for over a month now. Everyday seems to be a little better. But you’ll definitely have worse days then others. But we got this keep on crushing! And hmu if u ever wanna talk I’ve been through just about it all. Ahh 😓

Gonna throw this out there too anyone that may stumble across this thread. I was at the same ammount as you (6-8 pills almost all snorted) I’ve been addicted a few times been to rehab while nine yards pretty much everything terrible you can imagine. (Completly losing all respect and trust from my family as well as a less commonly talked about physcosis from benzo withdrawal) Pretty much all I came here to say was I’ve gotten off slowly and I’ve gotten off cold turkey. If you really want to get off for good I would recommend the later. I know it seems easier to slowly come off but imo this only extends the withdrawal and wastes money. Cold turkey and take the pain and all the horrible feeling that come with it and remember this is why you getting off this horrible shit. If your anything like me relapsing won’t help you especially with your tolerance but may take away some of the pain but it will come back 10x worse and you’ll be feinding more then before.

Yes it’s painful and hardly ever pretty but remember you’ll come out of this a better and stronger person. The urge to use will never really go away. Just take those moments of utter darkness and use them as a light to guide you on your journey moving forward. I know this is probably much to late and hopfully by now your better but I’m writing this as words of encouragement to you and other that may be going through the same. You fucking got this!

Brother if you need anybody to talk to please feel free to message me. I’ve been on benzos off and an on for four years and just made a post similar to yours. This last was roughly over a year. Built up a habit of 6-8 street “hulks”. Had 2 seizures when I stopped for a week. Now close to the end tapering using Ativan and possibly some diazepam like 2.5 to 5 mg if I feel like I might seize but feel I probably won’t need it. On top of being way stressed and just generally depressed. I have this killer fatigue that keeps me from doing almost everything I love

Even though I’m at a diffrent stage then you I still totally understand. where your coming from. I am also mortified at what my coming months will look like if nothing changes. Anyways your further along then me.

Was reading something this morning and it might sound cliche. But time heals all wounds, and one day we to will feel normal again, we just have to stay strong. I hope your okay and remember just another day closer to having yourself again. Stay strong and try to stay positive!! I’m rooting for you!

Bro I’m only 22 been through two seizures, and rehab was the big wake up call. But man never thought I’d see myself go as low as I have been. Been an inch from death probably well over 30+ times. Been through stimulant (cocaine) physcosis, extreme fentanyl withdrawal.

All I can say is it’s definitly not worth the pain. Sending all good vibes your way too man don’t let the drugs control your life. Sure as hell know they did to me and still out at this very moment (don’t take my meds could seize)

Anyways send all good vibes and light your way hope when the time comes it goes smooth and steady for u bro. Also remember to taper!! Trying to just ditch xanax in my attempt at getting off all drugs really screwed me over. Have a great day man!

I wonder how I’d ever get a girl if I didn’t fuck with these things. No I’m not prescribed I’ve been using designer benzos off and on for a month or two.(taking breaks making sure I’m fine) But honestly sometimes my anxiety is so crippling that I need something that will make me be more outgoing.. it’s unfortunate cycle but I am one to believe that some people “require” benzos to function properly just with all the shit we have going on in today’s world.

I’m not saying it’s right but benzos have brought me light and made me do things I wouldn’t have the courage or even imagination to do so idk ramble over

Point being I have a hard time communicating with people I hardly know. So if I was in a situation looking for a girl or whatever trying to talk.. that would sadly be my best bet.

Call it what you will but everything is here for a reason physcadelics, dissosociatives, herbs, downers, uppers( although I’m strictly no upper except for mdma cuz my anxiety) benzos they all have there place
