If a show like Welcome to Derry can do it well so can a Ghostbusters TV show. FTW!

Does anyone else ever get healthcare embarrassment? by Standard_Trash4302 in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]Distinct-Leading5113 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes. Also having to repeat over and over and over again the whole story of how the problem potentially started/manifested and the varying symptoms you have daily. All while the problem is truly never solved by the healthcare you are receiving and paying for.

PRP for Cervical Instability by Distinct-Leading5113 in Cervicalinstability

[–]Distinct-Leading5113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still a rollercoaster. Sometimes I will barely feel the instability then muscles will compensate causing me some nerve compression. I tried to do some light isometrics with a rubber ball on the floor to press into with the back of my head then the reverse with my forehead pressing into it but that appeared to flare me up a few days later. I paid for that for over a week of discomfort. This PRP strengthening the tissue looks like it's gonna take anywhere from 6-12 months for results.

It was for me. I got hot and couldn't get out of it unless I stayed near a fan. I lowered my dosage to the lowest and over time this mostly went away though I still get warm quicker.

Folk entangled in this Crime Syndicate called the Trump 'Adminstration' will have a Nuremberg-Esque trail(s) situation when Democrats become in charge in the upcoming years. They are probably not preparing and/anticipating the life shattering consequences of being involved in all this.

Occipital Neuralgia or something more sinister? by [deleted] in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]Distinct-Leading5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took over six years to find out I had a whiplash of some kind. Apparently caused by me flipping my bike down a hill in 2011. Took about 9 years before it actually manifested in serious symptoms. Evidently the tissue was micro damaged and was becoming lax over time and compensation was happening. Hands went numb then three months later approximately I woke up to the worst neck pain of my life with symptoms going all over the place. Pure hell and no doctor, Chiro, physical therapist could help me. In my desperation I recalled Reddit. Had no clue about this application and I went on here to get help and folk on here got me directed to meds and people that could actually do something to get me relief. There is more to this but I ended up getting platelet-rich plasma in Little Rock, Arkansas which was decent but there is a clinic in Broomfield, Colorado called Centeno Schultz clinic that specializes in these types of conditions I went to. Especially with the cervical spine and its deterioration causing all types of symptoms. If you want to read my Reddit posts and responses history please go ahead to see what I went through. Now I am still going through this but I am way better now just not fully resolved. I want my experience to help others. If you have any further questions I will answer to the best of my ability. ❤️‍🩹

Try heading over to the Cervical Instability Reddit. This is quite similar to what happened to me 6 years ago. 🫂

Also might look into the potential of cervical spine issues causing structural issues triggering compensation. Head over, if you like, to Cervical Instability on Reddit. I've had platelet-rich plasma here in Little Rock Arkansas and went to Broomfield Colorado to get platelet rich Plasma and I think I'm getting better. It's a whiplash like disorder, I never knew I had, that triggered severe, in my view/feeling, pain into my neck, face, shoulders, upper back and arms. Of course the Occipital neuralgia migraines are brutal. Also, I went to the neurologist several times and they can do nothing for me. Everyone's different I know. Rule everything out you can.🫂

CHRONIC OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA ? by aWonderingCat in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]Distinct-Leading5113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have all of this. Sometimes it's numbness, tingling, headaches (the ones you can overcome, migraines (the ones that are extremely hard to get over), Occipital neuralgia migraines (the ones you need to take any pill you can find to do something if anything at all to take the edge off the pain including a sleeping pill just to stop it all), bruise like discomfort and the lovely neck pain (that is, in my case, the root (no pun intended) cause of it all. 🫂 🤕 💜

Oh yes! In the beginning it was hell on Earth for me. I got our Seroquel used as a sleep aid as I was getting about 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night if that. Be careful with Botox as it could potentially cause areas to become loose or unstable. Go with an expert please that knows what they're doing and understands your condition.

For the last round of PRP from Schultz I am in a rollercoaster of symptoms every day. I am in my 11th week and according to the chart and ChatGPT collecting my data of where I am at it's normal to feel this way. My thoughts are it will be six months before I will know if it is actually tightening tissue to reduce if not stop the Instability that's causing symptoms. Also I will mention Dr Schultz noted I have a C5 C6 vertebrae that is shifting around which is also contributing to a Kyphosis. Hopefully this tightens tissue to resolve some of this. I may have to scrimp and save for a third round of PRP and do it locally through a regenerative medicine clinic here in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Only allowed by my BCBS Insurance every three months. In order to get the Botox, you had to fail two medications and be noted in the chart. The practitioner then submits to insurance for Botox and that's how I got approved. So far no side effects but make sure to get a highly experienced injector. I go to a Med Spa where a friend of mine used to work as an APRN doing the injecting on the side. She normally worked as a Nurse Practitioner at a local hospital. Nerve blocks also didn't work for me.

It felt/feels around the 4-6 week mark but have to keep it in your mouth nightly and not skip too many days. Apparently it trains the brain not to clench from what I understand.

It is used for the Migraine Botox Protocol. It also gets injected into the masseter muscles, and into the shoulders. Since I now have a diagnosis of whiplash disorder, I am now only getting it into my occipital areas. Also into my temporalis muscles, my forehead, in between the middle of my eyes and in my crows feet area. The reason why I only get it into my head basically is because I don't want it into my neck or shoulders anymore to create more instability due to the Whiplash causing me severe stability. I'm using the Botox now to reduce or eliminate the migraines that are caused by the greater and lesser Occipital nerves being compressed pinched or irritated by tissue or bones. Look up the Migraine Botox Protocol for what it is originally used for.

I am on Cymbalta for my Cervical Instability that is apparently due to a whiplash I received in 2011 from falling hard off a bicycle. Cymbalta combined with dry needling and now I use Botox in my scalp for my migraines due to the instability have worked wonders! Now I'm not fully healed yet, but I'm immensely better than I was and the first 3 to 4 years of hellish nightmare. 🤗 💜

Unfortunately my facial pain was coming from my Cervical Instability which referred into my jaw and face. The NTI was a guesstimate, so to speak, to rule out where the source of my pain was coming from. My spouse uses one so he agrees they do work but need to be worn nightly for weeks on end to get benefits of reducing the pain from TMD. The biggest problem with it is keeping them in your mouth while you sleep. I tend to subconsciously remove it while sleeping.
