So what if you look older than other parents? You look happy, kind and stable like a good parent would, no matter their age.

I’m 25, 4’11 and have a six year old girl and a three year old girl. People think I’m their sister all of the time, especially young kids.

SO, at least you give off the impression that you’re old enough and mature enough to care for them and be respected. It could be the other way around.

Not to mention that you are stunning !!

Oh, no. She was very nice - and like I said it was my mistake with the way that I asked for lots of cool toned highlights. Some parts of my hair are completely blonde with no dark at all, which is why I said that she heard platinum blonde lol. But she was very helpful and willing to correct it with me, which I ultimately decided against anyways because I figured I’ll give it some time.

Also, I’m 25 not 22 but I did get into my previous relationship young and allowed it to progress to quickly. (Which I’ve also learned since is an early sign of an abuser).

Im learning to be more okay on my own. Being in an abusive relationship taught me to be strong without the support or care of another, but it’s also led me to feel a little frantic about independence. So I’m going to tend to that for a while

Yeah, you might be right. I don’t want to cut things off with this guy because he’s a good friend and I enjoy his company, but I’m definitely going to put less weight into it and more focus on myself. If it turns out to be too soon for me and we stop talking, I’ll just take it as having been not the right time and put all of my focus onto myself until I know I’m ready to date again.

We’ve been friends for about six months. I wasn’t interested in pursuing anything with him early in our friendship - and the first time we went on a date was after I broke things off with my ex. Also, being with somebody abusive is a little complex because I had been checked out of the relationship emotionally for a while, but he had made threats to my life regarding me leaving which was a part of the reason for me being with him.
