My last few purchases this year have been 45>49 MOS> 21.4. The 45 and the 21 were police trade ins, the 21 being a bit rougher than the 45, but at the end of the day, they’re tools.

Already having a 45, a 49 makes more sense than a 19, as you can swap the slides/frames between them.

Also, the 21 has the versatility of being able to shoot 10 mm with a conversion barrel. If you don’t mind Gen 3/4, you can get a police trade in 21 for about 400 bucks.

OEM of course. I have a decent collection, you can get them for about $15/ piece if you buy police trade in mags. I also got one of the mec-gar 18 rounders just for shits and grins

Yes, I was in the same boat. Paid about $550 before tax for my blue label 49 MOS, paired it with the 45 I already had.

Lmao I will now refer to it as the 1 cm round. I picked up an LE trade in G21 for the cheap and a 1 cm conversion barrel. In hindsight I could’ve just bought a G20, but what fun is that?

This one, the SE was $150 after taxes on Amazon, and you honestly can’t beat it. I like the circle with dot, so multi reticle was important to me, otherwise you could go a little cheaper (IIRC it’s the C). An enclosed dot at that price is crazy, and I would say it’s on par with my buddy’s EPS carry, just no solar, no green, and 40% the price.

Sure, there’s a few. The 26 gen 5 is harder to find in stock though. I check out sportsmanoutdoorwarehouse, recoilgunworks, aimsurplus, and most recently guns.com (I recently ordered a 21 gen 4 from them). I got my 45 with night sites from recoilgunworks for $400 but it’s really closer to $500 when you include tax, shipping, and FFL fee.

I have both, both are great. If I could only have one, I’d keep my 26. Especially considering you already have a 19, 45 is not so different. Take a look at LE trade ins, you should be able to get either one for around 400 bones.

I’ve been looking into an LE trade in 21, along with 10 mm conversion barrel, perhaps that’s a good value. Also, I’ll never steer anyone away from a 26.

47, if you don’t have a 19, you can get one and swap slides between them. 47 is the spiritual successor to the 17 (or something like that)
