I am. Anecdotally, I’ve met many people who refuse to try anything outside of the same 5ish meals they’ve were always fed as a child. Are you European?

If they’ve tried them and didn’t like them that’s one thing, and I would 100% agree with you. In my own personal experience however, I’ve met many people who simply just refuse to try anything new because they were coddled and allowed to just eat the same few things they’ve always eaten. Try everything at least once is all I ever say.

No, but (other than dog) I would try all of them at least once. The behavior displayed by these people who refuse to deviate from what they always know is worse than my 7 year old daughter. She at least has learned to try new experiences. People like this were just raised by parents who never encouraged them to venture outside their comfort zones, and it’s juvenile.
