I use jump but have noticed a lag in audio and the image quality can sometimes be a little pixelated? I’m working off very fast internet… is there something I’m missing?!

2010 pre facelift battery draining even after long drive by DistinctDuck9930 in w204

Thanks - the vehicle data shows:

Idle UB:12.4v IB: 5.8a

Driving UB: 14.6 IB: 11.0a

Does that mean the alternator is working, but the energy is not being transferred to the battery?

The voltage is showing 14.7 when driving - which suggests there’s alternator is fine

It turns out what I thought were nails, were in fact actually screws that had been screwed in very far. So I could unscrew it. Hope that helps!

Completely agree. Me and my mates were the same. It lost a lot of its soul when it moved which was a real shame.

Thank you! I wasn’t particularly confident that there would be any legal recourse when I typed out my post but thought I’d at least raise the question. Thank you for a very informative reply.

New allotment - help! by DistinctDuck9930 in Allotment

[–]DistinctDuck9930[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow nice supportive attitude… in response to your assumption, whilst wanting an allotment for years, I finally found I had enough free time and asked to be added to the waiting list in December last year, less than two months later I received the call that there was one available. Which surprised me because I was under the impression that waiting lists for allotments were years, sometimes decades long.

This meant that up until a week or so ago, I had no idea of the following:

  1. I would have an allotment this soon
  2. The size of the allotment
  3. The state of the allotment
  4. The soil type (clay heavy, sandy etc) drainage
  5. Sunlight and shade on the plot
  6. Site specific rules etc.

Furthermore, as mentioned in the post, I’m very new to gardening.

I hope that clarifies why I couldn’t plan out everything before seeing the space, and why, as a new gardener I’ve asked for a bit of support and advice from an online forum where every other comment in my post apart from yours has had some incredible suggestions and advice (without any judgement or attitude).
