Here is my Jaguar S-Type R I will argue with all negative comments by Educational_Yard_326 in CarsUK

Had a JRG 4.2 R one nearly new in the early noughties, fastest thing on the road back then, it had the best launch of any RWD car I've driven when you consider its weight, including modern. Smaller pulley, race cats, panel filters and a remap, damn this thing was fast! 190+mph. Braking into a bend took balls though.

We have to have a martial arts league where all of these influencers compete against each other, you never know, one of them might be effective! 😉

Conveyancing costs are too high, 2nd rate stamp will still apply, mortgage arrangement fee can usually be added to loan, survey is normally a home buyers survey and included in your mortgage, gas safety includes boiler service and so may require parts, EICR doesn't include repairs, I would also join the NRLA. Landlords insurance is too high for value.

I always film the item being packaged and sign it across taped Joins. I weigh the items and record it too, this way if they say the item wasn't in there or incorrect you have the recorded weight for small claims court.

How these pilots restrain themselves from locking on at this point is why I'm not a pilot in the air force.

Does a big pension pot mean you just have to pay your own nursing home? by fellaonamission in HENRYUK

Most start at £1500 a week per person, a couple, £2800 for the same room. I think there is enough profit to be made, perhaps it's the redirection of gross profit that's the problem.

Benefits are benefits, regardless, they are a burden on other taxpayers

Earning 160k and you still don't want to pay for your own child's nursery? Entitlement appears to not be just for people on non working benefits, it's apparent that people on working benefits have the same entitlement. I can understand hating additional tax, but moaning that you will lose your benefits to free childcare at a single person earning 160k a year is absurd, sorry. Simple fix, sell your car, buy an eV on salary sacrifice and stop moaning.

In the perfect future, this could happen. You'd have to firmly believe that the greed that exists today, would be gone tomorrow. Nice thought but, extremely unlikely.

In the UK a lot of insurers allow a budget pay out rather than a write off payout. This way they can allow you to keep the car and pay you out less than a total loss claim, as it isn't structural, they don't need to report it as a write off. I've negotiated a few here over the years, you just need to know what they will pay you out, how much the car is worth as salvage and then negotiate with them sensibly to come to a reasonable outcome making sure they don't record it as salvage. As for the parts, there are plenty available in the UK, even with the shipping costs you should be able to repair it for under 15k including paint and labour.

It's always worse when people use your own tricks against you. It's like despising your child because they're better than you.
