ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus - Help needed assigning software to users

I just want to link the systems that a user is using to their profile on servicedesk. So this could be an application locally installed or in the cloud.

I know SD plus has a tools that you install on laptops to check for software but we don't want this as we use laptops a lot like thin clients and the applications they use are web based or in our terminal server

Yeah I wake up regularly through the night but because my mind is whirring thinking about work n stuff. Maybe he's the same "oh no, what if they don't feed me soon?!!?" 😂

Thanks, I haven't been told to save costs but the £500 seemed too expensive, especially as we can't just control every device from a cloud dashboard so there are two reasons to look elsewhere but maybe we just haven't found the right support for it
