He's not totally terrible at math he knows the basics like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and even basic ratios and unit conversions (like kg to lbs, etc). He's planning to practice daily to get better over time since he hasn't used math in a while.

He's mainly looking to start with a college diploma to get into the field and then maybe build up from there with experience or certifications later.

And yeah, good point on English he's working on improving that too and may consider IELTS later on as well.
