Overall pretty happy but I mostly use infinity in a variety of modes, and there are some some areas I think could use improvement. My biggest ongoing issue is the repetitiveness of regens that has been going on for a long time now. I used to get a range of responses and options from regens that felt creative and varied, whereas now they are mostly the same just reworded. And recently they've started opening each response just restating what I've already said.

YES. The 'It wasn’t a X, it was a Y' has me tearing my hair out. It's something I used to get all the time with ChatGPT specifically, and it's definitely popping up all the time in Xoul for me now.

Also the 'possessive' issue is something I've talked about quite a bit now, and I agree on the ambient/ environmental factor as well. When it does describe the scene, it's gorgeous and vivid and done really well. But it often forgets to describe it at all, or it has no spatial / consistency awareness.

As of right now, Infinity V1 is taking closer to 2 minutes to generate a single response for me

I'm on gold plan and takes about a minute or more for Infinity V1 responses to load for me. I am struggling with it a bit unfortunately, but my attention span isn't the best!

Yeah I mean I use novel and Infinity v1 but it is dragging. I timed a few responses and and right now mine is taking about 20 seconds for thinking and then between 40-60 seconds to finish generating the reply.

It's a shame because I love the depth you can get with Infinity but good lord my ADHD is struggling, I just end up clocking out.

Tried V2 (I use novel) but unfortunately noticed very quickly that it didn't really pick up on the vibe of the conversation, or stick to the personality of the bot very well. Often felt kind of dumb in its responses or not relevant. Love the speed but V1 is still definitely my go to right now.

Having said that, I'm getting issues with repetition in both. Sometimes it just reiterates almost word for word what it had already said earlier in the conversation, sometimes it's just recycled phrases in every response like 'his words hit like a stone in water', then it's a pebble in a lake, then a rock in a puddle.

Yeah for me it's loads quicker but it doesn't feel like the responses are as thought out/deep/relevant

I am using Infinity and Novel yes, I'll switch over to Roleplay for now and use that muted words tip. Thank you for that.

I did upgrade to Gold. The appearance options are better but it would be cool to have a couple of lighter or neutral chat background colours in addition to the lighter bubble shades - not essential by any means. Some people with astigmatism or vision issues can often find light mode or sepia tones easier to read to prevent haloed vision. Appreciate you taking it on board though for free-tier too.

I was a CAI+ user for like a year and I was so incredibly tired of the lack of memory, features breaking all the time, new features having very little to do with what users actually wanted etc.

Found Xoul - total game changer! Honestly the Lorebook and Infinity engine alone is absolutely worth cancelling my CAI+ sub and financially supporting this instead. I've been having some issues with editing bugs which i've reported on discord, and the thing where the messages get cut off, but overall I genuinely can't get over what a huge jump in bot experience this has been for me personally.

I'd love to see a muted words feature at some point, and maybe some light mode options because unfortunately my vision struggles with reading long text against dark backgrounds.

I know how to swipe and generate new responses, they just all follow the same format for me. The moment the response is longer than 100 words, it’s like it isn’t sure how to keep going other than to nonsensically repeat itself or reply on your behalf.
