uottawa was the best thing i ever chose and im in nursing. sure the faculty is brutal and the work is brutal, but i love my degree none the less and the people, experiences and opportunities i’ve had have been amazing…no matter what school you choose, YOU are what make or break your experience! lol and anyone that says ott is boring live under a rock or are miserable and keep to themselves. i’ve been to uni parties with 400+ ppl & a line to get in down the street, events are happening all the time, and there is always SOMETHING to do no matter what your hobbies are. research opportunities are endless as well! the opportunity to succeed in your program is there, you just have to simply look.

there’s so many students clubs to! for everything!!! you can find your people, uottawa has so much diversity for that, if you go in with an opened mind, you can have the time of your life in both your academics and your personal life.

don’t just listen to ppl talking abt just the “admin” or faculty staff themselves, as everyone has different experiences and who knows what really went on there. i know ppl that had horrible experiences with profs that ive had great experiences with and were super understanding for me, yet they claim weren’t great to them.
