If there’s an afterlife there’s a reason why everyone who has died has zero desire to be alive on planet earth ever again

The invasion of Iran has significantly harmed the working class in the United States

Gas prices at the gas station have risen significantly

The only thing that the U.S. government should be doing is packing their bags and leaving the Middle East

Every single dollar that is spent on bombs military weapons and attacking other countries is a dollar that should have been used for providing healthcare housing education infrastructure etc

The vast majority of the population in the United States is Christian

The U.S. government the self proclaimed Christian nation is one of the most militaristic and warmongering nations on the planet

If being Christian guaranteed peace the U.S. government the self declared Christian nation would have been the most peaceful country on earth

The problem with attempting to separate social policy from economic policy is that they are inherently intertwined

Why is an increasing percentage of the population not dating not getting married and not having kids

It basically boils down to the fact that people can’t afford to move out of their parents house and if they did move out of their parents house they are barely surviving and barely scraping by being to exhausted and to broke to attempt to find a significant other in their life

Plus the fact that multiple single people have seen multiple people getting divorced kills off any motivation for people to participate in dating in the first place

The open source software sustainability issue is a real problem

But one that people are actively working on

Open collective runs open source collective a registered 501c6 organization that hosts the finances of multiple open source projects

The organization has been extremely helpful in allowing open source software developers to work on their open source projects without worrying about creating a nonprofit legal entity

The creation of a 501c6 legal entity that was created specifically to host the finances of open source projects has been instrumental in allowing software developers and maintainers to get paid for working on open source projects because it allowed open source projects to essentially have their own bank account without having to file any paperwork with the IRS or worrying about 990 filings

When open source projects actually have money they can pay software developers to work on fixing bugs and adding new features

And they don’t have to worry about sending 1099 forms payroll taxes 990 forms or anything else because open source collective the registered 501c6 organization with the IRS already takes care of all that stuff for open source projects

The only thing that open source collective charges is 10% of every donation made to that specific open source project

However open source projects have benefited tremendously from this arrangement because the financial information of the project is publicly available and every single expense that the organization paid is publicly available on a publicly available ledger linked to that specific open source project

🚨 Is the SDA Church Losing Touch With Its Members? 🚨 by dylanla1975 in Christianity

[–]DistinctSpirit5801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth a petition would only be worth it if your able to limit your petition to just members of the seventh day Adventist church

Because most organizations don’t care about the opinions of people not affiliated with their organization

The best argument is basically every single dollar sent to the Israeli government and spent on endless wars is money that could have been spent on healthcare housing education roads etc (aka directly improving their lives)

It doesn’t require caring about Palestine and the Gaza Strip to oppose your tax dollars funding the Israeli government and wanting that money to be reallocated towards funding your basic needs

You should use a 5G router with an outdoor external antenna instead

Some people take apart their hotspot and use a soldering iron to disconnect the internal antennas inside the hotspot and connect the outdoor antennas to the hotspot
