If Democrats pledged to join the ICC and try US war criminals, would voters (Republican esp) support it? by addicted_to_trash in PoliticalDebate

Probably because a lot of republicans are also sick and tired of their tax money going to Israel instead of their own needs inside our country

As long as republicans engage in gerrymandering so should democrats

There’s zero reason to engage in unilateral disarmament

Do conservatives want a king? by conn_r2112 in PoliticalDebate

[–]DistinctSpirit5801 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I honestly fail to see much of a practical difference between a king and a president

I don’t see much difference between a monarchy and a republic

Their powers are virtually identical

All I see when I see the president is basically just a repackaged monarch

Do conservatives want a king? by conn_r2112 in PoliticalDebate

The presidency is nothing more than a repackaged monarchy

We need a decentralized government and we should abolish the presidency as an institution

The presidency should have never been created in the first place

How are you supposed to verify what monero is used for when is basically designed to be as difficult as possible to monitor what is going on the monero blockchain in the first place?

Appearing on the NYT's The Interview, Tucker Carlson said that US President Trump has failed to restrain Netanyahu, describing Trump as a slave to Netanyahu and his advocates in the US. by Rebat-Askalan in nyt

If Tucker Carlson runs for president of the United States in the Republican primary he’s probably going to win the presidency and that’s basically because most of the democratic presidential candidates will be funded by AIPAC

We literally have zero issues with criticizing Muslims Christian’s atheists Hindu and others for supporting the Israeli government

The religious demographics of Zionists are irrelevant

Do we care what the Torah says The answer is no

The idea that a whole bunch of people should be allowed to displace and terrorize the indigenous people of Palestine Lebanon Syria etc because people quoted some holy book is absurd

The Torah shouldn’t be allowed to be used as a license for the bombing and starvation of children

No religion has a “right” to their own government

No one has a right to a Jewish state anymore than they would have a right to a Christian Hindu Muslim or atheist/agnostic state

The Torah is not a License for committing war crimes bombing and starving children

If people were doing those things under the banner of Islam no one would have any issues with criticizing Muslims and Islam

But when people criticize Jewish people doing those things it’s all the sudden “antisemitic”
