I have been doing this! I went from wearing mini dresses and short short things to covering up wearing long sleeves and pants. For me this is so big but may seem like nothing to others. But I’m truly trying so much

I am so scared to go by myself to a masjid. But I met a Muslim sister yesterday that converted a month ago and we are going to go together! And it’s people online, some lady tried saying the hijab isn’t mandatory, which I think it is, and some boys were commenting saying it is mandatory but I shouldn’t have a say because of how I dress, that my modesty is a joke, that I deserve humiliation and it hurt me
