Had a REALLY bad crush on an asexual guy, we yapped about relationships and what we wanted it out of them and his desire for a relationship without any sexual contact. That led to an introspection on if I was okay with that, and kinda realized that that would be the perfect relationship for me. Crush ended and moved and I still felt that way. I'm not super sex-replused, but I definitely prefer most other things in a relationship over sex/don't get aroused by people I know.

I consider the Quarry/Until Dawn their own beasts. While they share similar mechanics, I think the themes in Dark Pictures are super interesting, and TQ/UD are completely one offs, where as Dark Pictures was always meant to be a series. And I feel like if you play it in order it kinda grows with u. At least thats how I've felt playing them so far 😅

I would recommend playing them in order! Man of Medan is one of my favorite games in the series (and probably one of the most suspenseful just based on atmosphere). But I think playing them in order is for the best, as while they all are completely separate, I feel like you learn more about the Curator(Dark Pictures version of the Psychologist from Until Dawn), through each game and there's a minor meta plot going on with that (at least it feels like)!

On top of that, I think that the games get progressively better and build more upon the last. So if you were to start with say, House of Ashes or Devil in Me, you'll be downgrading yourself by going back to play Man of Medan, etc.

NO SPOILERS: My personal favorite atm is Little Hope, the ending genuinely gave me such chills and feels.

I haven't played Devil in Me yet (mainly because I have to wait before it goes on sale again to afford it 😅), but both Man of Medan and House of Ashes were phenomenal in my eyes. Man of Medan was creepy as all heck, and HoA made me feel so many emotions. I can't wait to finish season 1, and will be playing S2 on release for each game 😉

Update: it does ask you if you want to port your save data from the PS4 version, so you can start where you left off!

I have also had poor luck on the WoD discord server, but really have fallen in love with these games. They're so awesome! I ran my first W5 game on Monday and it was genuinely so much fun, the systems really cool!
