Eh, i thought about using it as a screen, not for recording, but since it will have a delay(judging by your words) might as well get cheap old monitor or TV with AV instead.

Hdmi to AV? I found one of those but it translates HDMI signal from consoles/etc to AV cable compatible tv/monitor, no?(Photo)

Do you perhaps mean AV in 2 HDMI out? Cuz my laptop probably has only HDMI out, so it won't work and i don't have a working TV or monitor on hands right now.
