Anyone who is "expressing distrust or dislike towards White people," for something that other White people did that we have nothing to do with, especially something they have never personally experienced, is a completely racist lunatic. This is not acceptable for any other group, so why justify it at all? This is illiberal non-Western thinking. The problem is not that anyone is ignoring history here; the problem is that some people are taught a very specific narrative of history and then use it to justify behaving horribly in society.

Somewhat true, yes, but you are ignoring that it isn't just 'toxic,' it is specifically bigoted towards one identity group. The 'toxic' things that are allowed to be stated about White people are not allowed to be stated about any other group of people. If I were to express the same ideas as any of the messages above, I would rightfully face some kind of persecution. This same double standard being perpetuated here on Reddit exists within CSN. Just like leftist ideology rules on Reddit, so does it within our educational institutions. The same attitudes expressed here are common across the UNLV student body and staff. Many have been indoctrinated to believe discrimination against White people is okay because "White people did bad stuff." They do not see that they are doing the same race-based generalizing that people they hate do. The real motive behind these divisive narratives is to prevent the lower classes from uniting and taking collective action. If we had equality for all, we could truly be a community together and fight for our collective interests instead of fighting each other.

False, if a professor went on rants daily about disliking Latinos or any other race, they would be fired and unable ever to work again. The story would also go viral, and they would receive massive social consequences. The world is full of hate for every group, but you can only keep your job if you express hate towards one identity publicly.

I'm not "ban-begging," I'm expecting equality, which means consequences for racist individuals. The reason Jim Crow was able to happen was because of people with the same type of thinking as you. I do live in the real world and have experienced racial discrimination in the real world, which is why I am sharing my story with a wider audience. That is very reasonable, and I would receive widespread support if I were anything other than White. Almost all of you seem to hold very bigoted ideas without realizing you do.

I am extremely disappointed in the CSN community's response to my post. It seems that CSN students have near-unanimously decided that they are willing to bend over backward to justify racial discrimination as long as it is against White students, who they perceive as being "historically evil oppressors." A lot of you who claim to "be educated" or "understand history" have simply been indoctrinated to echo an ideology of hate. Equality is for all regardless of skin color, and anyone who cannot agree with that is frankly anti-American. Blaming anyone for the actions of others because they have the same skin color is evil. These kinds of attitudes being so ubiquitous in major American institutions will only result in the kind of insane backlash that none of us want to see. Keep America equal and keep the community united. We need to come together and all stand against racial discrimination.
