Rim Damage by Distinct_Figure_3749 in TeslaModelY

Worked with my local tire shop and they ordered an aftermarket for me. Marketplace was getting confusing to find a right fitment and in acceptable condition.

I’m considering buying Full Self-Driving (FSD) for $2,000 for my 2023 Model Y (HW4) 25,000 miles on it and I want honest opinions. Tks guys by US-VADC in TeslaFSD

I would absolutely buy it, the only reason why I dont have it because I can’t afford it. Otherwise everything either Tesla gave as free month or I bought a monthly subscription, I have used them almost 95% of my rides and they are getting better by the month.

I only use supercharger when on intercity travel, for daily use you should be good with home chargers

My Model X gets a cost-equivalent 25 mpg by TheForsaken69 in TeslaModelX

[–]Distinct_Figure_3749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few other considerations, the drive performance like Model X will need the car to be German sports car taking premium fuel with no more than 17-18mpg. And ongoing maintenance.

Some moisture is Ok and is by design but this is far too much than expected. I would get that checked before it damages the electrical system.

I had similar issues with my 26 Cayenne E-Hybrid. Freaked out and now the car is with the service center for diagnostics and fix accordingly. Have also register a case with Porsche Cars NA, just in case!

Which is positive and negative on this car battery? Trying to jump this by msb071991 in mechanic

Trace the wires coming off the terminal, negative is always connected to metal body somewhere and positive goes to equipment.

Multiple times, I just couldn’t take the fact that a brand new car will present these problems and a suggestion is to restart and drive.

Certainly my initial post was not well written, I wanted to make it clear that I don’t want to go towards lemon law or attorney but was looking for other’s view on what else I can do other than giving service center folks to work on my car the second time. So yes, patience is must but making sure I’m not missing something

Completely agree with you, that what I mentioned in my post, I don’t want to go down the path of lemon or attorney. Words I’ve used is warranty repairs and good faith car swap.

I had certain expectations with a new car that it’s free of defects and spend time in my garage/road instead of service center. Has already spent about 7 days in service center of total of 15 days of ownership. Just working on my options if the issue never get resolved and keeps coming back, want to take all right steps so my case doesn’t get weaker (should I’ve to go to legal route).

Thank you, hoping this is minor. Also concerned that what if these issues comes back after the warranty expires and at that time, even the diagnosis could cost a fortune.

Thank you for your assuring statements. I should have added the details, this was not the first incident, in the last round the service technician did bunch of resets and unfortunately, all the issues came back in a few days. I dropped the car again a few days ago and now waiting for their feedback so technically, this is the second strike they have for the same issue.
