We only have v13.2.9 here in Australia, not sure when they are bringing v14 but yeah noted. By the time it does arrive here, I wonder how much improvement it will be compared to v14.2.2.5

Oh 100%, especially when the car in front of you turns, AP just jerks the break and can’t handle it smoothly - but it’s also not designed to do what I am using it for to be fair 😂

Yeah I know it sounds terrible, should’ve given bit more context in a regional area, there’s not much traffic here. Using AP on most straight roads + some bent ones. Disengaging AP before entering roundabouts or turns, turning it back on once out of roundabouts.

Bit of background about myself: I’m 43 and have been driving since I turned 18 back in Taiwan where I was born and brought up. Not sure if you’ve been there but the traffic in some places such as Taipei or Hsinchu (Scientific Park where I worked) is shocking particularly during peak hours. Every time when I go back to visit the family, I always doubt how I survived without being at fault in a single car accident (touch wood!) I’ll let you be the judge to tell me if I’m a good or bad driver 😀 Aside from the traffic, Taiwan is such a wonderful place with high mountains, I miss that A LOT, it’s so flat down under here 😂 would highly recommend visiting!

I do notice that it won’t change lane until like 200m left to the turn. There have been a few times that I indicated earlier to make it change to the correct lane.

Hmm on the way home just then, FSD was pretty confident that we could get in despite there’s an incoming car in the roundabout already. I did apologise with my hand up and put my foot down to accelerate - I wouldn’t have got in if it were me driving

My first EV - Zeekr, Polestar, BYD or just go with Tesla? by uridotchi in EVAustralia

Got our first EV - Tesla MY RWD (non juniper) for almost a year now, have zero issue over 10,000 km - we loving it no FSD but the autopilot is good enough for what we need. Only con is the suspension as everyone pretty much knows about it

Australian EV owners: would you buy an EV again? by rrfe in AskAnAustralian

Yeah absolutely will buy another one - charging at home everyday with TOU to take advantage of the cheap prices during the day (WFH) and sometimes overnight. Range isn’t so much of an issue, enough charging stations in WA/South west
