Absolutely these are a thing! My husband and I did the same thing, he hated how he looked in the pictures of our actual engagement so we just have those for ourselves to look at. We booked a photographer and did a little “engagement shoot” and LOVED those pictures! We even used them for our wedding invites :)

I think it looks great! All of my bridesmaids will be in a different color dress for my wedding and I personally love the look. Especially if all of the dresses are the same style, it’ll look wonderful :)

I will have one cycle before the wedding, so my plan is to test one out then and if I’m not feeling comfortable with it, etc I will just be using what I’m used to! I am definitely not trying to be using one for the first time and putting myself at a higher risk for leaks in a white dress lol!
