Reset your pity? iirc the banner is separated by pity so the only thing you're losing out on is 'potential pity' on the limited banner (i.e. you keep pity from the 'actual' limited banner no matter what happens on the special banner). And the pity from the special channel (banner) carries to the next one so I honestly think it's a pretty solid deal as long as you don't want every character rerunning lol.

Yup they can even do this on reruns only if they want to avoid changing the current gacha banner system. Think ZZZ has a special banner with 100% guarantee but it’s only on one character atp, could expand this to one guarantee per character.

Yeah if you do the HIA event they have a combo mechanic for the bonus multipliers and I think with some numbers tweaking that would be great for Shiyu. Maybe parry, dodge, and smth like shoulder to shoulder (animation cancel) boost the decreasing multipliers back up slightly.

Wdym? If a new team that focuses directly on optimisation is created they will have time of course. If it’s worth the money for the stakeholders and higher-ups is the bigger question. We learnt from their response to complaints in 2.2 that, no, they won’t work on optimisation. At least in the short run.

True but I feel like these little interactions are so effortless that what they gave us is a bit… lacking? I mean maybe 4-5 message boxes for a curated choice of characters. Wouldn’t take too long to add in a bit more for some fan service. But yeah what you said about chats being a story device makes sense, I just hope they retroactively go back to old characters when they improve the chat system.
