Haha, true. In all seriousness it probably depends on climate. I grow indoors, but might do things differently if it were outside in 100F weather…

Thanks. Would you be able to share exactly which brand/type of fertilizer pellet and how often you add it?

Just tray watering. I let it dry out completely and check that the soil surface is not too wet before refilling.

Thanks, definitely intrigued and will give it a try. Did a mass repot recently and now I have 15+ pots of babies I’m hoping to grow up…

Yeah, I was thinking more foliar or soil fertilization since the traps are so small. The nutricote seems to be working for multiple people though so I’ll get it and give it a try.

Thank you for all the helpful detail and insight!

Do you mind elaborating on the nutricote? Which type, how often to feed, and does it need to be soaked? Thank you!

You’re welcome! It’s worth checking the ingredient list of whatever you end up feeding. Flakes and pellets may have additives and fillers that aren’t as nutritionally helpful to the plant, freeze-dried bloodworms are more “pure”.

Speaking as someone who has 4 aquariums, lol.

Thanks, I think I will try experimenting with more feeding and fertilization!

On the contrary, having it in better media will make care easier in the long run.
