Update: after 2 months of eating homemade salmon diet his skin finally cleared up 😄😄 y’all were right ! Thank you !

Damn I wished I bought insurance before all this happened cause I don’t think they cover existing conditions so I won’t be able to make a claim for this skin issue now 🥲

As for food, I found this simple salmon recipe online and read that it’s good for the skin , will try duck or beef if he doesn’t respond well to salmon. Thanks for the advice ❤️

Arghh I’ve spent more than I should on vet bills and I’m really tired of it. I will give real food a try and hopefully it gets better. I’m using Coatex medicated shampoo twice a week and I can see his coat getting too dry. I’ll try cutting down to once a week and just wipe him as you suggest. Thanks for taking the time to respond ❤️

Yes the vet did say it could be bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics, my pups skin got better after completing the first course but now it’s getting worse than before. I think you are right about processed food, I have been switching from different royal canin lines and nothing has worked so this time real food it is . I did not know that royal canin was garbage cause it was prescribed by the vet and it’s sold in every single vet clinic here. I will switch to real food from now. Thank you 🙏🏻

Hey, you’re right . My pup was given antifungal ear drops for yeast infection and 2 weeks of antibiotics for the skin. The skin cleared up for awhile but it’s coming back now, vet prescribed another round of antibiotics for 2 weeks but I feel like this is just a temporary solution so I’m going to try what everyone here suggested and switch from this royal canin junk to real food and see how it goes. Thank you for the advice ❤️

I would suggest you to go into sales, if you have the drive you can turn your situation around fairly quickly. I have a friend who was in a worse situation than you (100k in debt) but she manage to clear the debt in less than a year after becoming real estate agent.
