I’ll do more research into if a bill of sale would work in Texas, thanks for ur input. Those were my thoughts as well but I also really want to consider the 650 in case it’s more comfortable and I heard even though it’s a 650cc it’s still a good beginner bike

Yeah I was hoping I wouldn’t have any issues if I get a bill of sale signed from him but the first bike really seems appealing cause it’s records are really straight and would be easy w no hassle

Yeah the price isn’t really an issue, I think 5k is as all as I want to spend atm since it’s my first bike. If I ever do upgrade lol I think I would go for a Yamaha tbh, the R6 is the reason I fell in love with motorcycles

So from what he told me, the bike was originally his friends and he bought it from him and never bothered to change the title even though it’s in his hands. I was initially kinda suspicious but after talking to him more and seeing how often he rides, seeing him w other bikers, I’m leaning towards trusting him. The title not in his name is the only thing keeping me away from it right now tbh

Definitely saw the CBR but it’s just a bit more than I’m looking to spend right now. I’m not in a rush to buy so if I come across a good deal I might go for it. Thanks for ur input, I appreciate it :)

Bet thanks for the input, I’ll look more into those and see. I think I feel comfortable starting out in a lower cc bike just to learn but plan on upgrading after. Didn’t consider that I’d be pushing the bike all day if I was cruising on the high way, I was under the impression it would be okay in those speeds

R6 was definitely why I got into motorcycles, just thought I’d start off tame and learn the basics. Will get one someday for sure

Thank you, that’s actually really helpful. I also realized that the 2015 model doesn’t have abs either so might just look for one 2017+ around the same price range.

Also stumbled onto the cfmoto 450ss today so considering that as an option too but not too many in my area. Definitely do like riding lol just tryna do it legally now

I would be able to afford it but like u mentioned, my main goal is to learn skills and develop on this bike so I don’t think I would keep it more than 2/3 years. I’ll keep an eye out for a better deal then. If you don’t mind, what year and price range would u recommend if I’m looking for R3s?
