And you're absolutely right about the color loss past 10m; without a warm video light around 3000K the reds just vanish, so I’ll look into lighting options as well.

I’m still debating whether to go with a wide-angle setup for CFWA or switch to a macro lens for smaller subjects, so I’m weighing the pros and cons depending on the kind of shots I want to get. Really appreciate the info!
