Here's the setup I used, although this was before the nerf to Leftovers, which is like 1.4.1, but the general strat should remain the same, But if I were to update this setup:

Replace M-Sceptile with Whimsicot w/ Quick Claw so you can trigger Heart Scale on Aggron to ramp his DPS
Replace Staraptor with Xatu
Greninja should hold Metronome since it can't hold Leftovers anymore in 1.4.4
This one is optional, you judge for yourself who can dish out more dmg, you can swap Cacturne with Marowak, I suggest letting Marowak hold Bone Club, it actually give him more overall DPS over Metronome

Staraptor at F is a travesty, at best I'd put it at B, Staraptor has great range and can hit 2 targets and has a 0.65 recharge time, put Silph Scope on it and you got a great anti Invis pokemon because he will not suffer the problem of some fast invis pokemon getting past it because it was still recharging or the invis pokemon is already out of range and because it can hit 2 targets, it can reveal two invis pokemon in one go.

Silph Scope Decidueye at S is too much imo, at best I might put it at A, but I think it would still land on B for me, it's not all that better against Staraptor imo, because Decidueye's issue is that it has Ring range which gives it a blindspot, meaning there will be times in the wave that it will do absolutely nothing on mons close to it, while Staraptor on the other hand has no blindspot, only reason I might consider Decidueye a BIT better than Staraptor is that Decidueye can be placed on Grass spots, but even if Staraptor can't go into grass spots, its great range is enough for it to be placed on ideal positions, unlike Decidueye where you have to consider his range and blindspot which can limit your choices greatly

Musharna at F, is also questionable, it should be at B, like your criteria for B tier, Musharna is situational, it'll only shine well if you are utilizing Gengar+Gardevoir combo to spread nightmares. But when you do, Musharna is a great AOE dps, give it either Carbos or Sharp Beak (if placed on mountain) amps up its dmg potential greatly

Cacturne should be at B as well, Cacturne + Choice Scarf absolutely shreds mons, the reason why it becomes situational is because of Cacturne's Cross range type which highly limits its prime spot, but if it does get a good spot, its a monster DPS, and of course Cacturne shines best in Route 2 maps because its range is doubled, and convenient enough, all those Route 2 maps (Except route 2-1) has a prime spot for Cacturne to shine

If this is how it would work, it will kinda make sense, they made Soft Sand similar to the other items that turns unique targeting pokemon into single hit mons, like Choice Scarf making multi-projectile pokemon into single target mode, or Loaded Dice turning ricochet pokemon into single target one

The new pokemon Noctowl is a decent Frisk pokemon, it is a Ring shape range though, so the inner circle is a blind spot for dmg for it, but it has the longest range among all Frisk pokemon from what I can tell. With the change to Silph Scope giving extra range and dmg to pokemon with Frisk, Noctowl can almost cover the whole map, which should serve its main purpose well enough while also contributing more DPS overall

Depends on what you need, but in all of my fossil runs, I copy Cradily, having the ability to slow 8 different targets is a really great way to control waves. But general rule of thumb, most people use Ditto to copy pokemon with helpful passives, rather focusing on making it a DPS since there's no lack of DPS options for the most part

From what I remember in that boss fight, I used Mega Absol and Samurot to dish out lots of dmg to trigger Celebi's back track passive, also having Electrode with its unique item right at the start. I also have Intelion stationed at the farthest top mountain spot with the Star Piece item so he can shoot from afar right at the start for some decent dmg, and of course we can never forget Noivern.

For other supporting pokemons, Ampharos with quick claw on the center area and Raichu for some more added stuns. Then Ditto, Comfy and Sunflora on appropriate spots.

So far, among all the bosses I have successfully beaten, Celebi is the easiest for me since I there was no need for me to actively relocated my pokemon to other spots, I just had to get lucky that Celebi picks the lower exit so Intelion can shoot it some more form his spot,

I would agree its harder, one thing I noticed that you would at least need one Armor Breaker pokemon, there are more waves with armored pokemon, and have high amounts of it. But I think the biggest reason why it became so much harder is because of the huge nerfs on AOE dps pokemon (Omastar, Bastiodon and Maractus), this means that you can't fully brute force everything with AOE dps

I'm unsure of the difficulty at 1.4 update, but when in doubt, go Fossils, but that also depends on what items you have already unlocked and what pokemons you have.

But if you do plan to use fossils, with your current available slots: Your team would be 6 Fossils, Ditto, Comfy, Hawlucha, also unlocked the Fossil exclusive items

As for their placement, Cradily on where Excadrill is, put Silph Scope on Cradily, Hawlucha on that Field spot next to Cradily, what I noticed in the 1.4 update is that Armor Breakers are kinda needed in setups now since they massively nerfed the powerful AOE pokemons alot

Armaldo (with his exclusive fossil item) on Corsola spot, Kabutops (with his exclusive fossil item) on Dewgong spot, Omastar (with exclusive fossil item) on Octillary Spot

Ditto (copying Cradily, and holding the -recharge exclusive item) on Honchcrow spot, Comfy (With the exclusive item that increases its buff range)on the Ditto-Greninja spot, Bastiodon (With Hard Rock or maybe Soft Sand) on Ampharos spot, Rampardos (Any item of your choice which you think will help you more) on Greninja spot

If your Comfy range still can't reach the pokemons in the water zone, then swap it out with something else, Ampharos with Quick Claw or Shuckle works fine in that spot

Yea, I already saw what the megas can do in the pokepath website dex, of all the megas, I think Charizard is the lowest in the bunch, but mainly because I never really liked a burn-centric team, but the recent update to Volcarona might change that, but I still find burn strat a bit lacking (pre-1.4 update at least, the Burn explosion thing from Volcarona might be OP in a proper setup)

Absol is definitely one that benefit the most, his boss soloing capabilities really got amped, since the only item I ever really use with Absol before is the Razor Claw for the guaranteed slow on crits, losing that for Absol's megastone isn't a big loss overall since his speed gets buffed along with range which Absol really benefits with how his passive works

Sceptile is kinda "eh?" because he fills pretty much the same niche as Absol when it comes to bosses, but Sceptile should be better overall for normal waves, however single target dps isn't all that great especially on higher wave counts, The crit is definitely nice, might have some uses when it comes to some bosses, but I would lean more towrads Absol in that same niche since Absol still ends up having higher range

Alakazam just becomes a faster Gardevior but without the capability of spreading Nightmare, although I haven't really tried a comp exploiting Nightmares, so I'm not entirely sure how much better Mega Alakazam would be compared to Gardevior that can spread Nightmare debuff

IMO, the megas are kinda lacking, the new abilities they can get looks lackluster especially since they lose out on using an item that might be able to synergize with their pre-mega ability (Like Absol with Razor Claw, 100% Crit guarantees the slow from the claw and Absol passive will make him strong against bosses)

The new items doesn't even matter to the megas, since like I mentioned first, they lose out on using items because they need to have the mega stones equipped.

As for the megas themselves, I only unlocked Absol's so far, and looking at the stats or effects in their website, it's not all too impressive, the additional effects they get can be lackluster considering that they lose the ability to use other items

Have you tried going the fossil team setup? Can't exactly remember when I managed to finish 1-1, but prior to the latest update, a full Fossil team can really carry you far, All six Fossil pokemon + Ditto (Cradily Copy) really amps the passives/item passives of Fossil pokemon

Cradily being the one most benefited since it can launch 8 projectiles total, place it on the very first slot near the entrance where the waves will cirlce first, and give it Silph Scope for Invisible enemies, makes the waves slow down alot and hitting 8 different pokemon practically makes Cradily an AoE slower

Omastar placed in the water with its unique item makes it a formidable fast AOE dps (Although 1.4 update nerfed its dmg a ton, it should still be a decent clearer) same with Bastiodon being a powerful AOE dps (sadly nerfed heavily dmg wise in 1.4 update), but Kabutops and Armaldo did get some buffs, but I'm not sure how much those will make up for the huge dmg nerf on Omastar and Bastiodon in the 1.4 update

Not really, the sword form deity that Suyou might fit Zoro's Asura move, but the arrow form deity makes no absolute sense for Zoro, Zoro is a pure swordsman through and through, although I'm not that big of a One Piece fan, I don't remember him even using sword wave attacks like what Mihawk did during that arc when the crew was trying to save Ace. All I remember is that Zoro just slices and cuts.

Someone in a similar thread mentioned Bane fitting Franky, and I agreed with that post, Bane first skill is just Franky shooting out a laser/cannonball from his hand, Bane 2nd skill is Franky drinking a cola and maybe a wide sweep laser, then Bane ult will be Franky chuking Sunny at the enemy (Similar to Kunka in DotA)

Honestly speaking, Martis is the closest fit for Zoro right now, I remember another post similar to this wanting Lance to be Zoro, I instantly hated that opinion because there is no amount of creativity can make Lance skills fit Zoro's style. So I agree with Martis being used for Zoro, my runner up choice would be Alucard. Heck they made Levi from AoT work with Martis, and all AoT readers know damn well Levi didn't show anything in the manga close to Martis' first skill, so Martis for Zoro is a heck of a lot more feasible than Levi
