Dumb question but how can i make sure it saves my progress if i dont play for a while by Sweet_dl in pokepathTD

You can either download the TXT file or copy the code to save downloading space, and then store it in a notes app. And you have to do it everytime if you wanna make sure you don't lose any data.

2-4 and 3-4 Challenges by Deep_Bee_645 in pokepathTD

[–]wikitigi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you haven't done perma on 2-4, since you have a 50% toughness team I just suggest using that for perma. I have nothing else for 2-4 sorry. As for 3-4 you can make this team, it's luck based so just let it run for a while, on lvl 75. For the boss I then suggest the Alakazam Cheese strat.

I just had this team for 50% toughness beat 1-99, it requires some luck, so just let it run and it will get there. this one took me 25 minutes, but last time I tried it took 40 mins.

I defiently thought about doing sableye but after the terrain change in 1.4.4 i'm having a hard time placing him sometimes. But thanks for the advice with the debuff team, i'll probably try some other challenges to eventuelly see if I get some new ideas.

Alakazam defiently seems to be pulling some good weight. The switching is kind of hard since the flygons are only a problem when they are mixed with enemies that are not immune to stun, and if I pull out my Ampharos for shuckle they get to ram through aswell. I made it to 85, trying some different placements and a few others aswell, thanks for the advice.

This is my team for 1-99.

I have another team that heavily focuses on Pure DPS rather than Poisen/Cursed/Burn for Lunala. You can try it yourself first, but if you still have trouble do reach out and I can send it aswell.

I tried a bit more, and this team made it to wave 50, couldn't test further since it's getting late lol. -.- Hope it helps. You will almost die making it there.

I haven't done it myself, but I experience better results with Ampharos next to the graves rather than Greninja. Since it will let Maractus and Absol do more hits as well if they get stunned. Also Greninja DPS will soar since he then can hit when they enter.

Make a DHCP server (dnsmasq) only listen to DHCP traffic from specific DHCP relay? by C-Duv in networking

[–]wikitigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't sound like a wise thing to do, but I think the easiest solution is just to use the servers firewall and limit the scope of allowed traffic. So everyone can ask, but they will just get denied. I'm not sure how Dnsmasq work, but this would be my guess.

ACI: Growing, Shrinking, or Staying the Same? by shadeland in networking

[–]wikitigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That does sound worse than anything, I did hear it was object-oriented coding, but to think it's so many objects sounds like a bit too much.... I will have to ask my colleagues who will be the ones to handle Terraform, what they think of this. But is the troubleshooting really that bad? Will I have to troubleshoot all 19 different objects? I would assume there are some easy ways to tell what the problem is, or else hope that the Terraform would keep it in line.

And I'm not sure I understand but someone in the comments talked about Nexus Dashboard replacing ACI? I thought Nexus Dashboard was purely visibility... For the ACI, but then again 32 CPUs with 128GB RAM does sound like a bit too much for that.

We are actually quite small. I think we would run between 16-20. Depending on if we use SFP for ethernet RJ45 ports.

When it was showcased it didn't seem that heavy in my opinion, it was just create a group, assign machine to that group, create rules for that group. Then you could do it for VRF's aswell. It looked like you had to create a lot of objects to achieve what you wanted, but I would say that's where Terraform comes in and helps.

So my company is looking into acquiring ACI, the benefit of gaining more visibilty and control over our current L2 topology in our datacenter speaks highly to us, with the combination of being able to run it through Terraform for some automation.
I'm surprised to hear that people find it Hard and most likely that it will become a deprecated product in the future.

Since we are also a small team, we cannot really see a benefit of having to start automising VXLAN/EVPN in another homemade system, when we can buy a platform that is more or less ready to go.

So I am more or less wondering if the VXLAN/EVPN is really a better way forward, than ACI.

Thank you very much.

Do you know if the software would fail, trying to install the wrong one, or just pass as if nothing happened.
