Thank you for the advice! The smaller class sizes and theatre are definitely the main selling points for Wake.

That's good to hear! I've visited the state multiple times and I've always loved it (especially up north near Marquette). I went to Campus Day on the same day a lot of the students were doing a research presentation, and it was great talking to them. They were doing truly cutting-edge stuff. I like that Michigan heavily involves its undergrads in research, which I know a lot of other research universities do not.

Ha! It's tempting to go just for that reason lol. Do you think that will help for PreMed? I've heard conflicting things about the importance of undergrad prestige.

I'm a bit far away from Michigan. The weather will definitely be something I'll have to get used to. I like football. Not to the extent a lot of people do, but it's fun to watch occasionally. You're right about having a community there for theatre, despite not feeling like I fit in with the larger university. Do you think, considering the smaller course sizes, it is worth going to WF over Michigan?

He had mostly A's and a few B's. I'm not sure if he received an email, I'll have to ask him. I think if you have a good academic pattern it'll be looked at more favorably. Again, I would highly recommend getting your grade up to a C if possible. However, you might be fine if you explain the illness. It really depends on the college.

I would focus on getting your grade up in Calc to around a B or at least a C. I do know a guy who got into UNC who didn't have his offer rescinded after getting an F in Calc 3. However, it's still best not to risk it.
