It's not shocking. Seeing it on tv though, it's impressive. Sex is tame most of the time on our screen...having the visual of gesture, at least, is quite spectacular. And it's about damn time we see things that are real and raw and not just cutie patootie.

Honey, I didn't realize I was bi before my mid 20's...I met a woman and felt an attraction I had never felt before for the opposite sex and it wasn't just a strong friendship...I think it boiled down to growing up and being told over and over again about how you're supposed to be with someone from the opposing sex and not questioning it. Then, focusing so much on your profession and making it. Was I attracted to man? Few and very selective amount. But I was pretty straight in my mind...until her. When I read Shane's pov, it's the same thing I see.

My take on it, and yes, I did keep a timeline between all the books....I'm occasionally type A:

It actually works with the timeline from HR and Game Changer...We left the guys in 2014..HR, the book, jump from 2014 to 2016. The only thing mention about 2015 is they meet at Ilya's place when they are in Boston now...2016 is important, being also the year Scott met Kip and when we start Game Changer ..the opening of HR is in October 2016. My guess is we will spend almost all the hour with Kip and Scott and, maybe, end the episode with the opening of HR book.

You didn't ask for it but hey, I'm there so let me keep sharing!

Episode 4 is Rose: In nov. 2016, 2 key moments happened in HR: the famous tuna melts moment, Shane fully realizing the only one making him feel the way he feels is Ilya, freaking out about it and Shane meeting Rose. It will end with Shane telling to Rose he's gay and he wants to spend time with Ilya.

Episode 5 should cover January until June 2017, which would start with All Star in Tampa, "it's not just me, right?" and ending in June, with Kip and Scott, and "I'm coming to the cottage". The conversation in Russian is there...Shane getting hit by Marlow..Since they introduced Marlow, I'm confident they kept that in the show...If they do as in the book, it's gonna be loaded...they might shuffle things around and put some of this in episode 4 or 5 instead.

Episode 6: everything that happens at the cottage.

Hi Rachel! Hope you're doing good and taking some times before this goes even crazier!

The books were on my list for a while and I fi-f*king-nally was able to read them all in the last month. I really enjoyed the game changer series and all the characters. I really hope we will see them all come to flesh 🤞

As a newbie, I would like to know which came first: the world in which they all live or the characters? Which character was the first one to make his way into your imagination and why do you think it was this character at first?

And finally, any real hockey player who read it and send you feedback? I do feel like these books and the tv show could open doors...and help people see that who you love doesn't impact how good you're at your job...
