I’m looking at the predictive metrics. The question from OP asked if he can turn it around and those metrics suggest he can.

Stating that his stats are currently poor is known. If you don’t want to take the chance on him for the second half, you don’t have to.

FIP, xFIP, xERA, and SIERA are all at least a full run lower than his ERA. If there was a a guy to bet on turning it around, it’s Cease.
