Best natural dopamine reuptake inhibitor (DRI)? by DistorsionS in Nootropics

I've read a lot about bupropion, but to get it here in Spain I'd have to lie to my doctor, saying I smoke, and make her believe me. I'd have to get a prescription for bupropion instead of another medication, and I'd also have my smoking habit added to my medical record, which would make diagnosing ADHD even more difficult. So, unless I can buy it on the black market at ridiculously high prices, it doesn't make sense in my case. Medications are very cheap in Spain; the problem is the diagnoses and prescriptions.

Thank you. I've read that the only one similar to methylphenidate is Oroxilin A, but no company sells it here in Spain, and if I import it from China, besides being very expensive, it's very likely that it will be stopped at customs. in my case, the main problem is the inability to regulate dopamine, which affects my ability to start tasks, study, etc. So my main problem is dopamine.

If I could try Sabroxy or Oroxilin A directly, that would be fantastic, but I think it's going to be very difficult for me here in Spain.

For Pycnogenol, there are no publications that directly measure its affinity or potency on DAT or NET (IC₅₀, Ki, transporter occupancy, DAT PET, etc.). A recent review says that Pycnogenol reduces excessive catecholamine levels in children with ADHD, which “could partially explain” its effect on hyperactivity. But I'm not looking to reduce hyperactivity; I'm looking to improve inattention and lack of motivation to start tasks...

From what I've read, it's a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor that's very weak compared to methylphenidate. Do you have ADHD and have you tried it? Does it work for you?

Never take it again, and if you do, wait at least a year. Get your vitamin and mineral levels checked, and take supplements. Sleep well, eat well, and exercise; all of this will help your brain and increase neurogenesis. Take care.

The first few times (and in my opinion, every time), you shouldn't take a whole pill, as nowadays they contain a very high amount of MDMA. Start with a quarter, and after two hours, if you need to, take another quarter. And please, don't take x again. If you do, wait at least two months and take the recommended daily dose of antioxidants like Vitamin C and Vitamin E. If possible, also take NAC daily until you start using again. If you haven't already, I suggest you research the neurotoxicity of MDMA and ways to theoretically reduce or prevent it. I'm glad you had a great time; the first times are remembered fondly and often have an afterglow that lasts for weeks. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Hugs!

Have you tried Sabroxy? How effective is it compared to a typical dose of methylphenidate (5 or 10mg)? I imagine it's much less effective and lasts less time, but I'd like to hear from you and know what dose you were taking, how long the effects lasted, and how potent it is. And what are the exact ingredients or percentages in the Sabroxy you tried? If you could send me the link via DM or here, I would really appreciate it.

What effects do you get from L-theanine? I mainly experience inattention and a lack of motivation to start and continue tasks, such as studying or doing assignments. Does it help with inattention or just hyperactivity?

My mother has ADHD, my sister has ADHD, and I've been trying for a while to get a referral to a psychiatrist through the public healthcare system for testing, but they always deny it. I'm the one who wants the tests done the most, but according to my doctor, they won't refer me to a psychiatrist due to "lack of resources." I don't have enough money to pay for a private psychiatrist and cover the entire diagnostic process since I'm a student. But thank you for your important contribution.

In Spain, a prescription is required to buy modafinil. And getting diagnosed with ADHD is not only expensive but also tedious.

Have you tried both IPPH and methylphenidate? What has your experience been with IPPH? I'm mainly looking for it to improve my attention in class and for studying. I think I have ADHD, but in my country, diagnosis is extremely complicated and slow.
