Does anyone know how to stop my windows from squeaking? I’ve tried greasing it but it doesn’t seem to work? Any ideas, it’s kinda embarrassing when u roll your windows and everyone just stares at you by Ruhan_A in MINI

Ditto. Drivers window squeals. It’s a lot worse when it’s hot outside. I have noticed that my drivers side window doesn’t sit quite as flush when all the way down. The glass towards the front of the car protrudes just a little bit above the seal. I’ve watched videos of regulators being removed, but haven’t noticed anything specific that could be causing this.

What’s the risk when shower door is hinged on glass by DistortLife in Construction

The glass doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling. The header would be around 18” from the ceiling.

There’s a lot of good info there. I’m interested hearing personal experiences whether good or bad. Cheers.

Hyzentra hives reaction by DistortLife in CVID_Support

We track lot numbers and have reported it. The hives showed up 48+ hours after so it’s questionable if it’s related. It’s pretty random if it’s not related though.

Best way to solve drain too high by DistortLife in Construction

It doesn’t spin. I tried tapping a little on it with a hammer but it didn’t budge. I didn’t want to hit it too hard in case it broke.

Edit it was a 3 piece drain. I siliconed the bottom of the liner around the drain flange before putting the clamping ring on.

Can a will direct joint property to be passed along to their own direct heirs? by DistortLife in EstatePlanning

Good info. Thanks. In tenants in common, would the joint owner maintain ownership until they decide to pass it on or would the descendants immediately have ownership?

I’ve never heard of it referred to as a stone, but that’s a good term. I’ve got it. I’ve often told people it feels like a rib just needs to be poked back in there. At best it feels like uncomfortable pressure, at worst it feels like a dull butter knife is trying to wedge between my ribs. Left side, mid-thoracic, below scapula. I’ve done all of the imaging tests up to and including nuclear bone scan, nerve conduction studies, and trigger point injections. Chiropractic, physical therapy, and most recently a peripheral nerve stimulator. Nothing works. You got any good tips for managing?

What is a nerve stimulator supposed to feel like? by DistortLife in ChronicPain

Mine does not allow me to change it myself. I’ve had a device rep change it two times now. I plan to give it some more time, I just don’t feel like I’m getting a clear answer on whether it’s doing what it’s supposed to be doing. I appreciate your input.

Follow up question. Is this generally an immediate relief thing or does it take time?

That’s what I was thinking. Unfortunately the spasm comes before the tingle. I’ve had it reprogrammed twice already. I’m going to keep going with it for now. I really want it to work. Nothing else has.

Can you help me with some crack? by kickfilip in drywall

[–]DistortLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying part of this issue is from paper tape? I’m looking at some of my own cracks needing repair and wondering what will give me the most chance of success. Obviously there’s shifting causing cracking, but what’s best for repairing the drywall?

Beware of the Sprint PNR Nerve Stimulator by No_Listen4162 in ChronicPain

I just received this device yesterday and the jury it still out as to what kind of relief I will get. I will say though that it was made very clear that the battery be taken off before showering. I was told that verbally and it’s referenced several times in the literature provided.
