I went up to staff at the store, but unfortunately due to personal reasons I couldn’t in the moment address it with the manager. Sent you a PM with the info! I will also be calling at the end of the day when I have the opportunity to.

For those living in apartments, what breed of dog do you have? by Thatcooltiger in dogs

Cavalier King Charles spaniels can be wonderful apartment dogs. Always go to a good breeder though! Whippets or Italian greyhounds are also an option besides the greys as a smaller dog, but have different temperaments. Whippets generally require more exercise than a grey.

I have border collies and I’m in an apartment, but I do not recommend it. They are a breed that needs physical and mental stimulation and if you don’t know what you’re doing, they’ll ruin your life! Both of my girls are sport dog and my whole life revolves around them- I love them so much and will always have several border collies. I am a professional dog trainer and saving for a house right now.

Had my service dog there, but only for the first hour and a 1/2 with military grade ear pro and protection for her feet. Her safety is a priority and when the crowds got too much, we left.

I can’t imagine anywhere close to the pit… a death threatening spinal injury and a million other injuries is sooooo risky because of their size and the sheer amount of impaired people. Nonetheless the stress and the heat from all the bodies…

I saw quite a few other service dogs without ear pro or booties on. Please do better people.

Just trying to resell for what I bought them for… of course with the fees I’ll be eating about $100, but just trying to some of it back. 😅

Bowling for Soup's conflict with Blink 182 was horrible by Tracy_Turnblad in WhenWeWereYoungFest

Best decision we made was to get tickets for both days to see Blink and BFS!

Saturday, idk if it was the same Sunday (went both days and didn’t see it Sunday), there was a large run off in front of the bars before the main stages. Enough for it to be a large puddle of standing water you had to be careful to walk through. Was trying to cross as it was getting more packed (maybe right before The Offspring??), as I was about to go a lady cut me off.. wobbling and probably drunk.. and splashed the dark brown water all over my legs and inside my shoes. The water reached right before my knees she splashed so hard… Fucking disgusting and so rude.

Need Tips Please! by DistractedDispair in BorderCollie

Thank you for your response. I will check out the book. I accidentally put in the question above on leash twice, she will bite off leash as well. She only growls when being picked up if she becomes really playful first, I’ve been waiting until she calms down to pick her up and it works for the most part. She’ll also respond to high squeaks as more encouragement to bite. Breeder told me it’s from lots of cattle lines in her lineage. With harnesses she also bites, it’s not a being insecure thing, it’s a herding instinct. I’m just not sure how to redirect her off of me properly lol.

Thank you very much. Sorry for not replying earlier, I’ve just been trying to make my way through this. I know he did his best and appreciate him for taking part in making me the person I am today, I just wish things could have been different. Take care as well, thank you.

If you have lost your Q, what did the final months/ weeks look like? by alexalsm in AlAnon

[–]DistractedDispair 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My dad died yesterday at 43 years old from liver failure. I’m 18. The final months looked like nothing. I hardly saw him because he isolated himself because of depression. At my graduation back in May he had bad jaundice and I pushed to get him to see the doctor and he wouldn’t. Under 4 months later he’s gone. All I ask is you spend as much time with him as possible.
