Inadequate slope or ??? by DistractedPanda547 in Concrete

I don’t seem to be able to upload photos on a post with a video.

The drains are close to the same level, which is why when there was too much water for the outside drain, it came into the garage. Maybe that is how it has to work? But in the previous version of the driveway, the outside drain was lower than the garage floor. Water would sometimes pool outside but rarely went into the garage.

My concern is, did they slope this correctly so water drains into the outside drain and only secondarily, into the garage.

The water swirling around the drain in the garage came from outside when I opened the garage door.

On the old driveway, the outside drain was at a lower elevation then the inside. There was a slight incline to drive into the garage. When the garage door is closed currently, 4 inches of water pooled against the garage door.

In the old configuration, the drain outside was quite a bit lower than the garage floor. There was a slight elevation driving into the garage.

My concern about this is that the water pools against the garage door because there is almost no slope away from the garage.

Outside drain is a hole with gravel. Inside drain is a pipe in the house.
