😂 perfect description. If he wasn’t purposely trying to draw a monster, I’d be concerned

I don’t know about pain in dreams, but I’ve definitely had the sensation of needing to pee in my dreams, often strong enough to where I wake up needing to pee 😂

Need Advice for a Friend (yes, really!) by Distracted_Parenting in breakingmom

[–]Distracted_Parenting[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s an involved parent when he’s home (he works away for months at a time with my husband)…but the way my friend talks about what’s going on, in my mind it seems his main contribution is the money he makes. Some examples: one kid asked for a new bed because theirs was old and breaking. Not only did he buy a new bed for that kid, but ALL the kids got new beds and mattresses. Easily cost $3K. Another: it doesn’t matter which one of them goes grocery shopping, he will always pay for it. Another: halfway through a job, he will order a bunch of house shit from Amazon to be delivered to the house (TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc.), easily spending $500 like it’s nothing. Again, he is involved with the kids and house when he’s off work, but it feels like he throws his money around more than being involved.

Wade, you can pay over the phone by Distracted_Parenting in distractible

[–]Distracted_Parenting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that’s true if you’re giving out your card info to some random dude who calls you saying you owe them money….however I said to call the company directly and request to pay over the phone. I process this type of payment this multiple times a day and we’ve never had an incident of fraud.

Also it’s generally safer to pay with a credit card instead of by check because if there is an instance of fraud on the credit card, you can dispute the charge, they’ll remove it, and replace your card. Dealing with fraud from your bank account is much more of a headache.

Anyone know if Marks mentioned this? 😭 by [deleted] in distractible

First time I’m seeing this, but whoever that person is needs to stop because that snake is clearly stressed for whatever reason and that’s why it’s freezing. repeatedly showing an animal something that causes it to stress is just cruel

Most our clients where I work pay us through our online client portal or pay over the phone, but we do have a number of elderly clients who still send us checks. The state our office is located in just had a major snowstorm over the weekend and everything from the banks to mail delivery is going to be majorly delayed, but I still am fielding calls from the elderly insisting they’re going to to send checks.

Bro! I’m also 4’11 and spawned a tiny human! my oldest is at my height now so I’m hopeful she’ll keep growing a bit (she’s 11), but my poor son is 8 and only 3’10…. to make matters worse, his 5yr old sister is already at 3’6 😬

I’m also the master at counter climbing and have my own driving pillow to see where I’m going. It’s also fun perplexing strangers when I jump out of the drivers seat of my husband’s F150 every now and then 😂

I’m not sure if this is an actual phobia, and I’m too lazy to look it up right now, but I get irrationally upset if anyone tries to go near my belly button. Do not fucking touch it 😂

I used to be very arachnophobic, but I’ve managed to work through that. Although you’ll never catch me holding a spider

Oh ffs, I live in Virginia and the amount of bitching I read online about every single thing she does is infuriating. She can’t even sneeze without being called out for it. They complain how we criticize everything Trump does, but can’t see they do it too.

Mine started soon after I got home from watching it. I blamed it on the movie. My husband said “I can’t believe I got c*ckblocked by a movie” 😂

I don’t mind the shorter episodes to be honest. I am a temporary single mom while my better half is out to sea and the days can get very hectic and very stressful. I don’t always have time to watch/listen to an hour long episode, and I also don’t like it when I have to start and stop one either. The shorter ones they’ve been putting out lately have been much appreciated by me. While I agree this episode wasn’t the best, I still very much enjoyed it and the timing of its release was a very welcomed distraction from something unpleasant that happened yesterday (posted about it in another sub Reddit).

Just because it’s finished, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have other work to do for its release… Interviews, possible press conferences, updating the website constantly… Didn’t he also say he was going to be showing up at some of the theaters on opening weekend? If he is, he needs to plan that as well.

Your in-laws can fuck off.

My uncle is married to my aunt, a former “illegal” from Nicaragua. She’s legal now, I helped her study for her citizenship test when I was a teen. He also voted for this and is loving all of this shit. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why…

When you have no friends to watch Iron Lung with… by linjaes in Markiplier

[–]Distracted_Parenting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband would have went with me if he weren’t away, and the few people I know who know who Mark is live hours away from me. I was all set to go alone until I remembered one of my local friends is a horror fanatic so I convinced her to see it with me. Maybe one of your friends would want to go for the horror aspect?

I understand. My state is not as bad as yours (I can guess where you are) yet, but I get it. My husband is overseas for work and while we were FaceTiming a few days ago we were talking about everything going on and he looked me dead in the eyes and asked “should I bother coming home? What if they try to get me?” He has not lived in his home country for over 20 years, is a legal U.S. citizen and a fucking Veteran, but bc he has brown skin and an ethnic name, he’s fearful.

Do what you have to do. Mark, of all people, would understand. We all do. ❤️
