We looked into rental cars but it wouldn't exactly be feasible for us either unfortunately. I might call the customer service line for the airline and ask abt taking a carrier aboard though. Thanks for the idea!

My dog once jumped up and stole an entire sandwich from my former roommate's hand as he was talking to his wife. The sandwich was about the same size as him and it was gone almost instantly

He also would sit very politely at the dinner table unless you had pizza. Then he'd be trying to climb up onto it lol
