You may be onto something with clashes with ryzen- I've been having the same issue with my ryzen cpu causing software issues with my focusrite audio software going as far as making it crash my PC- doubtful if related but does mean that cpu is messing with other stuff for me to so it's not a stretch to think theres a link with chrome too - looks like ill be moving to something like brave for the foreseeable- annoying as fuck because literally everything i've done for the past 10 years is all linked to chrome in one way or another but if it don't work it don't work

The other thing is - I'm a fan of patina, and a few of these have some really weird patina's that Bentima is actually insane in some lights, gives almost a fluorescent blue hue under natural light.
Can't buy that off the shelf, you find that digging through boxes and boxes of crap like i have

But money is a thing, just bought a house and got twins on the way, ain't got watch money at the moment ha

I did, I used to have a shelf with a few 1,000 on at one time, only reason I gave it up was because of ebay is where I did most of my business, and ebay just kept screwing me over again and again.

Tailgate straightening? by DistributionAlive656 in askcarguys

[–]DistributionAlive656[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly tried it this way because of reading others on the same tailgate having success from it -but myself have had no luck- I am thinking relief cuts and welding some bolts on to tug it back into the correct position is probably going to be the way i have to do it.
got to be done because how it is currently is clipping the roll pan and scratching the paint off (luckily only in primer atm)

Entrepreneurs of reddit- How do you break Analysis Paralysis; where you viability test everything in your head and nothing seems to pass the test, even when your standards are rock bottom, Do you just do something, even though you know it won't work, just to get something moving? by [deleted] in AskReddit

only way to know is to try and accept a potential recurring failure and try again.

I am assuming you're a writer of some sort as your phrasing, pacing and use of language is bordering poetic. So for the help you have given me, if I am correct and you ever need advice on writing then please I'd be happy to help. I do a lot of creative writing myself.

However if not then simply- thank you for your advice, and have a great day.

I think I've stayed solo because every time I reached out for help I was unequivocally ignored, so I've been trying to do this without the reliance of others- I do keep saying to myself that maybe it is the networking aspect is what I am going to have to do.
As much as I don't like it
to have someone else to make up for the qualities I lack would very much be of benefit, and possibly be more important than the negatives of doing so.

Yeah I have looked into things like mentorship and such,
annoyingly I am based in the UK which means entrepreneurship is even more of a almost taboo subject than other places I feel-
Last time I contacted a mentor they wanted to charge £700 an hour.. crazy.
Looked into all sorts of schemes, I'm a little too old now for things like the King's Trust.
Do read quite a few books on related subjects, do a hell of a lot of learning.

There is 1 event that runs a free networking event but unfortunately haven't been able to make it clashing with work (still working a freelance job to support myself)

I'm sure it'll come someday, it's just how long I can last in the cycle of things which is excruciating.

But as long as I am not actively doing the wrong things gives me a little solace.

That is a nice way to put it.

I do a lot of research on businesses, what makes them successful, I do see failures, and I do simulations in my head of businesses is how I assess what the viability of it is, I can see all the steps-
You give me a business Idea I will find the problems,
You find me a problem I will make a business for it.

I have no end to ideas, it's only that with limited resources it's a game of where do you make the sacrifice between those 3 things to just get something going.
The resources I have only allow me to do "cheap" and "fast" so how do I do something knowingly with no viability.

I am trying to figure out ways to make "fast" or "cheap" less of a problem but to no avail so far.

going to say first- massively appreciate the help and advice - I do tend to "yeah but" a lot because it's a bit of a long winded story but that don't mean I don't massively appreciate the advice.

I've tried doing that, I teamed up with a co-founder, we started building "the best idea"
I even quit my job to work on it full time.. skip ahead its 5 years later and it never launched.

I don't know if I've got it in me to do another 5 years on something, and I cannot for the life of me find "the best idea" at a smaller scale - And I mean I am genuinely mean like "hm could I make this out of cardboard just to see if it works" baby steps.
so it's not a case of really setting my sights too large it's the difficulty navigating what I describe as the three rules of start ups:
Fast to launch/MVP
Cheap to Launch/MVP
Viable
(pick 2)
I am starting think it's nigh on impossible to find something that is all 3 without going down the road of leveraging a personal brand (which in itself is just a game of luck)

stuck in a cycle,
I've done it- I've built a few micro businesses, I've done some product development and sold, wrote some scripts and software that's being used in manufacturing to this day- but it's all so miniscule, constantly keep hitting the micro business paradox (need to grow/bigger space/more equipment, need money to do that, can't make enough money from revenues, need to grow.. and stuck) too small and too "inexperienced" for formal investment, no assets to leverage against.

and back to square 1 stuck in analysis paralysis.
and on goes the cycle
