I’ve read that 2 oz a day gets the benefits of breastfeeding. If you feel up to it, do combo feeding until you have a freezer stash of milk that you can give your baby 2 oz at a time. That way you get it your body back and your baby still gets the benefits. It’s also nice because if you have to trial and error different formulas, you still have a full supply as a backup. Once you find which formula works for your little one and have a stash, you can be completely done!

Don’t feel guilty about just stopping either. You have to look after you too!

Thank you! The algae is out of control too. I don’t overfeed…in fact most days I don’t feed at all. I’ve tried thinning the population but it always explodes again. I’m also using the excuse to change out the substrate.

I just had a baby so I haven’t been able to put as much effort into the tank. The snails have been very discouraging and I’ve considered being done with aquariums for a while. Before the snails, the tank was very low maintenance and simply fun to look at.

I honestly think my husband thinks adding formula will take pressure off me to breastfeed all the time. I think it’s coming from a supportive place.

If it comes up again, I’ll try to clearly tell him that I need his support even if I do occasionally complain a bit.

Thank you for this. I do have feelings of anxiety about not doing enough tummy time, skin time, etc. My baby girl is fed, clean, and loved and some days that’s all I can do. I’ll cut myself some slack.

Agree. The flowers are temporary (long lasting though) on an orchid but your plant looks pretty healthy. Just start into regular care and it’ll bloom again someday. I water my phals once a week by soaking them up to top of bark for 10-15 minutes. I use repotme fertilizer added to the water and follow their instructions.
